Karma and Kat slowly walked around the area while Karma held her phone up so Ash could be apart of what was being seen. The girls walked aimlessly, not really looking for anything until they came across what seemed to be an abandoned house.
"Wanna go see what's in there?" Kat asked. "Might find something useful"
"Yea, why not"
They walked inside the home, the door creaked as they opened it. Inside, the front room was a mess. Looked like nobody lived there for years. The girls pulled out their guns in case anything happened as they parted ways.
Kat went and looked around the bedroom which was in the back of the home. All that laid there was a bed and a small nightstand off in the corner. The drawers were slightly opened and Kat went to see what was in them.
Opening the first drawer, all she found was a trac phone and on the back held a 12 digit number. The second drawer was empty and that's when a creaky noise came from the small closet in the room. "Hello?" Kat held her gun up towards the closet. "Who's there?"
A loud bang came from inside the closet and Kat slightly jumped. Not taking any chances, she fired two shots into the closet. The movements inside stopped and Karma walked into the room with a few things in her hands.
"You shot?"
Kat nodded "Open the closet"
"Hell no, you open the closet"
"Karma"
"Kat"
The room grew silent as the girls stared at each other. It was clear that Karma wasn't going to open the closet door "Damn it, man" Kat mumbled. She slowly walked towards the closer door and counted to three before opening it and pointing her gun at the person inside.
"Kat, wait" Karma dropped the things in her hand and slowly approached the little girl, who was clutching onto a small bear with fear and tears in her eyes. Her appearance made the girls think she'd been there for days, maybe weeks. "Hey sweetie, are you ok?"
The little girl backed further into the corner "Its ok, we won't hurt you" Kat spoke softly. Karma put out her hand and slowly, the little girl who couldn't be more then 8, reached out and Karma lifted her into her arms. "We bringing her back with us?"
"Definitely"
Kat grabbed the things Karma dropped and the trac phone she'd found and they made their way back to the house. Once they walked inside, Ash was already downstairs waiting. She brushed back the hair that was in the little girls face "What's your name pretty girl?"
"Moesha" she said softly.
"Where's your mommy and daddy?"
The little girl shrugged and Ash stepped back. "What are we going to do now?"
"First, bathe her while I cook her something to eat. Little one looks exhausted" Karma said as she made her way to the kitchen. Kat went to bathe Moesha while Ash followed Karma into the kitchen.
"How the hell we suppose to explain this to the guys when they get back? Remember, they know nothing about what Jose wants us t-"
"Girl relax" Karma laughed a little "We'll just say Moesha knocked on our door by herself. We took her in and that's it."
"I'm not good at this sneaky shit. I'm still a beginner at this" the girls laughed "Think she'd like chicken and macaroni and cheese?"
"I don't know but I know I will. I'm hungry"
"With ya fat ass"
"Ass always fat"
Back at the party, the guys stood up against the walls on different sides of the club with dark shades on so their eye movements couldn't be seen. Kacy kept his eyes on Wendell, who himself was leaning up against the wall of the club. He held a clear glass in his hand and had a woman on his side, who'd been there the entire night.
Morgan had his eyes on the bodyguard who stood in front of Wendell. He wore a bright orange shirt and held a machine gun across his chest. His face held an expression that showed he was playing no games and nobody dared to test him.
Dion on the other hand was much closer then Morgan and Kacy. He was no less then 20 feet away from Wendell and if he wanted, he could easily take them both out. But he just listened. From where Kacy and Morgan were, they couldn't even see Wendell and his bodyguard speaking but they were.
Dion was sure he recorded the entire conversation so later, he could play it for Kacy since he's the only one who would really understand.
From the tone of their voices, Wendell and his guard seemed to be having a somewhat heated conversation. Wendell then turned to the woman who stood by his side and whispered in her ear. She nodded and walked away, into the crowd.
A few moments passed by when a round of shots came from the crowd. People ducked, screamed and ran towards the exit soon showing the woman with a gun in her hand. The body guard dropped dead and Wendell spit on his dead body before walking off.
Dion, Kacy and Morgan were the last ones to exit the club. But not before grabbing whatever was on the body guard to use in case they need it.
Opening the front door, the guys had sleep fresh on their mind but all that changed when their eyes landed on a little girl, and the woman sitting around her.
Kacy cleared his throat "Who this?"
"Moesha" Ash said.
"And what she doing here?" Dion asked.
"She's lost" Kat spoke.
"Where the hell her parents?" Morgan asked next.
"We don't know and neither does she. The point of being lost." Karma answered. Kacy shook his head "Go on to sleep papa. I'll be up soon as she's ok"
Kacy mumbled to himself as he walked off. His mind was dazed and clouded and all he wanted to do was sleep. He didn't have time to think about a little girl who had been abandoned by her parents.
"Y'all gon let her sleep here?" Dion asked. The girls nodded "Nah, not happening"
"The hell you mean?" Karma asked "She's a little girl and needs somewhere to sleep D"
"Find her somewhere else then. We don't know her from a glass of paint, she could be here to kill us"
"She's 8" Kat laughed "Relax yourself"
"Iight now, when y'all dead and I'm the only one alive. We'll see who gon be relaxed " Dion mumbled when he walked off. Morgan simply shook his head and walked away. He didn't have anything to say. He just wanted to sleep.
