"Oh yea, oh yea. No stopping now, I'm about to catch a body" Karma sang loudly as the song Body blasted in the speakers though out the house. She was busy cooking the huge meal for the special occasion she was planning later that night.

Kacy's mother was coming over for dinner and so was Karmas dad. She was slightly nervous , not because her dad was coming though.

Only because Kacy had no idea neither of them were coming. He didn't like being the last to know anything and she'd been able to keep that from him the entire week.

Shocking huh? Considering the fact Kacy knew everything without having to be told.

In that moment, Kacy walked into the kitchen waving his gun in the air. "I'm about to catch a body "he sang. Karma laughed and shook her head. " Aint that what she mean?" He kissed her cheek.

"Not at all baby"

He shrugged and tucked his gun back in his waistband. "What ya cooking all this for?"

"To celebrate Moe being apart of this family" she smiled.

"Oh shit, I gotta pick her up from school" he rushed from the kitchen and to get his keys. Both him and Karma were still getting used to having another person to look out for.

That was Kacy's third time picking her up from school late within a week. He continued to tell himself he'll get better though.

Karma laughed loudly as she heard the front door shut. Just then, her phone rang and her mom's name falshed across the screen.

"Karma Marie, what's this I hear about your father coming over?" She asked soon as Karma answered.

"He is. I feel like we need to talk, without his wife being around. I don't feel comfortable around her yet, so it's just us" she answered kinda truthfully.

"Oh yea? And what about me? You don't think I deserve to know some things just like you?"

"Yes mama, but the issue I have with daddy should stay between me and him. And how'd you even know? Thought you didn't talk to him in awhile"

"I'm the one asking questions here and that better not be attitude I hear in the throat"

Karma stayed quiet "Are you staying you want to come over too?"

"Yes but since it's obvious my daughter don't need me anymore, I won't. Love you Marie"

"Love you too mama" the call ended and as time went by, Karma could only think about what'd she ask her father. The main thing she wanted to know was why'd he leave her and stop communicating with her?

How could he get married, and not tell her?

A knock at the door grabbed her attention and she went to answer it. Before she could reach the door, Ash and Kat walked in.

"We came just in time." Kat smiled. The food could be smelled from outside the house. "What's the occasion?"

"Kacy's mom is coming over" Karma answered. Both Ash and Kat stopped walking. "Yea, I know"

"He doesn't know, does he?"

"Nope but he's gonna find out in about 5 hours."

"Good luck mama" Ash mumbled.

"He told y'all about what happen between them two? All I know is they stopped talking when his brother died"

"Not our place to tell you K but I'm sure it'll come out sooner or later"

"More like sooner " Kat laughed "Wow, I already feel the tension"

"Definitely. But y'all can't stay long, I have so much to do. Y'all can come tomorrow though. I'm sure I'll need someone to vent to about the drama that happens tonight"
