Iris POV:

I laid on my bed reading the Notebook. When I read I get caught up in the characters and start thinking I'm the characters in the book. Weird I know.

"Iris!" Called my dad. I've always been a daddy's girl. Me and my mom don't have the best relationship.

"Yeah?" I call back. I was just getting into the juicy part of my book!

"Could you come down and help me get the table ready for supper?" I sighed wishing I didn't have to.

"Yes, be right there." I shouted back.

My family is switched. My mom works her full time job out of Florida so she has an apartment out there. She comes to visit once a month.

I have a stay-at-home dad. He takes care of me and my six siblings. He cooks the meals, cleans the laundry, and even has enough energy to deal with my cranky mom when she gets home. I am so proud of him.

I have interesting relationships with my siblings.

I'm 17 years old. I'm a senior in high school. I am just the simple nerd/tomboy who has a strong love for books, bands, and cars. I sure do love cars. My best friend Justice has a red and black Camaro that I have been jealous of ever since the day I laid eyes on it. My dad has a Lamborghini in our garage. I take out and ride it sometimes. I know for a fact my sister wouldn't. If she did, it would be to get attention. The reason I was scared to ride with Antonio this morning is because it's him driving. He speeds!

My sister is 5 minutes older then me, and I hate her. Her name is Britney. She is the total opposite of me. The head cheerleader and the biggest slut of the school. Most people don't even know we're twins, or even related! She never tells anyone. She says it's an embarrassment to be related to a creature like me. I mean I don't blame her, She's tall, skinny, has long blonde hair, and bright blue eyes. The guys drool over her. She got my moms looks.

For me it's another story.

I'm short, I have a weird light brown colour of hair (witch can't e tamed what so ever), and bright green eyes. I am a lot more curvy then Britney but guys don't care. They think I'm weird.

Then I have a nineteen year old brother named Drake who is in collage. I don't see him much but he was like a second dad to me. I love him so much. He comes home every Christmas and summer to visit us.

There is also my absolutely adorable two year old brother Sebastian. I don't know why but we call him Seth for short. He is the little runt of the family. He has light brown hair like me, ocean blue eyes, and a cute little button nose.

Then there is my 4 year old sister Becka, and my 6 year old sister, Leah. Becka is short with light brown hair and green/turquoise eyes. Shes like a miniature version of me. Leah has blonde hair and blue eyes like Britney. They are rapped together by the finger. No one can separate them, there bond is so strong. I'm so happy they have each other like that.

Then there is my 13 year old mischievous brother Michael. It's his mission to embarrass me. Thank god when he come to high school, I'll be gone.

I walk up the stairs and join my dad preparing for supper.

"Dad, can Siearra come over for supper?" I asked. Siearra is my one and only best friend.

"Sure." My dad said as he shrugged. Having Siearra over was a daily thing she practically lives with us.

As I take my seat at the table the rest of the family joins. Siearra will just joins when she gets here.

As I sit, I can't help but start thinking about the incident that happened today.
