1- Both Harry and JKR's birthdays are on July 31st

2-The actress who played Moaning Myrtle was 37 years old making her the oldest actor to play a student.

3- Rowling's publisher suggested that she use initials rather than her full name "Joanne Rowling", in order to appeal to male readers. She chose JK, borrowing the 'K' from her grandmother, Kathleen.

4- Only Alan Rickman knew what Snape's fate was because Rowling told him.

5- Rowling is the first person to be a billionaire (US dollars) by writing book and lost that status because she donated the money to charities.

6- Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint had a crush on Emma, Emma had a crush on Tom and Tom had a crush on Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix)

7- For his audition Rupert made a rap about him self.
