Mike:

Shit, shit, shit. She's gonna punch me and them she's gonna fin out about the picture, and then she's gonna kill me. I can't be dead! I can't die!

"Hi Iris...I didn't know you were gonna be home so early" Her eyes narrow and go to behind me where I can see just out of the corner of my eyes, a mirror.

She walks over to me, her eyes not mad anymore, but filling up with tears. She blinks them away, and reaches her arm around me, the feeling of the picture in my back pocket gone.

I close my eyes, and hang my head, sighing.

"I'm really sorry-" She stands next to me, just staring down at the picture.

"Where did you find this?" She's not mad?

"I dunno, I just did" I shrug, and she shakes her head, scoffing at it as she threw it on the floor like a piece of trash.

"Why are you in my room? Why were you snooping?! Can you make my life anymore miserable by you being here?" I apologize again, and she shakes her head. She hasn't thrown me out though.

"I wanted to find out more about you I guess" I shrug again, and I pick up the picture. She shakes her head, and pushes it out of my hands.

"Stop looking at that stupid picture!" She hates it, why?

"No! Why are you still in here, get out!" I put my hands up in defense, but don't move.

"I-I just wanna talk about last night...and the picture" She shakes her head, and sits down on her bed, actually laughing. She stares at the ceiling, and mutters something under her breath before looking back to me.

"What's there to talk about, Mike? Huh? I didn't even know you for a day and you...you act like you've known me my whole life. You grabbed me" I nod, admitting it.

"Yeah but not in a sexual way or anything" She crosses her arms, and I copy her. She scoffs, and narrows her eyes at me.

"You wish!" I shake my head, and close my eyes briefly.

"But in the picture you were smile this...this god gorgeous smile! You're obviously happy in this picture, it's almost like you have feelings for the person taking this picture" She rolls her eyes, and tears up a little.

"Yeah, so what? The picture's history and so is the person taking it" I have a point now, and I like it.

"So you're admitting that you loved the person taking the picture" She almost smiles, but forces it away, and I smile at her.

"Yeah...I did" I let my arms fall to my sides, and hold up the picture.

"Then how's come I've only known you for a day and you smiled like that at me last night" She gasps a short quick gasp, and her hand goes over her mouth. She's getting angry.

"I did not! I never smiled at you and I never would have smiled at you like that! Ever!" She shakes her head in disbelief, and I get closer.

"I have a photographic memory sweetie, and yes you did, indeed smile at me like that. You're also blushing like that" She growls at me, and shakes her head no.

"Denial" She rolls her eyes.

"Okay, okay. A serious question and you have to be 100 percent honest" She says sure, and her blue eyes meet mine.

"Did you like it when I grabbed you last night, or were you just itching to get away from me?" Her mouth quirks to one side, and I can tell she's chewing on the inside of her lip.

"Why are you still in my room?" She gets up to push me out, but I back away from her.

"Answer my question and I'll leave voluntarily" She sighs, and smiles.

She smiles like she's smiling in the picture.

"Yeah...I liked it" She sighs, looking at the floor, then looks back up, trying to hide her smile.

She walks to the door, opening it, and I slam it shut, using my other arm to push her back to it and her in front of me.

Her eyebrows raise, and her eyes widen. It sounds like it would look awkward, but it's one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, is her reaction when she knows I'm going to kiss her.

I force my mouth onto hers, and she kisses me back with want and desire.

I end the kiss in the middle of it, wanting t see if she shoos me out, but she doesn't. I can feel the collar of my shirt tighten as she grabs it, and she pulls me back into her.

We kiss until our lips are swollen, and the only thing I can think about is getting her in bed.

I curse under my breath as we stop, knowing we can't because of her brother in the other room.

"Don't worry, there's always later boner boy" She laughs at me, showing off the smile I can't get enough of, and pats my stomach.

I can feel the blood rush to my cheeks, and she shakes her head.

"Thank you" She hugs me, and at this moment I realize how short she is.

"Thank you? For what?" Her hair smells like berries, and I'm surprised my eyes haven't rolled into the back of my head.

"For being the guy who melted the ice...
