demons don't come from hell
beneath us
but within us
the inability to
release the past,
to be free and
experience the
flow of joy,
remains the reason
why negativity feeds
off the depression
sewed into our aura
they strive endlessly
to capture their scented meal
and we often allow them
to leech off our minds
by constantly retreating
to a nostalgic domain
when the mind is idle,
we foster these demons
which, sadly but truly,
come back just to
leave us saddened,
just to fuel the flames
of the hell within us
