Before the whole epidemic that crashed through America in the world Maria lives in, she was a regular 19 y/o in 1920's America. For those of you who don't know, only she and a few others survive the disease, but the cure made them immune to dying in general. So she attempted killing herself multiple times, only to fail, as she can't hurt herself. Eventually, she jumped off of a bridge, and fell into a coma. The doctors pronounced her dead, she buried alive and woke up in the 21st century basically.
So yeah this is her back then. She's actually Mexican-American but she looks a lot like princess Tiana in this XD. That's not bad though she looks kinda cool.
