Chapter 3: Getting ready part 3

Kitana Wins! Fatality!

The words flashes on her t.v screen in her room.

"Yes! I finally beats  someone's high score!" said the gamer as she grins at the screen.

The gamer was no other than Chiaki Nanami. Chiaki was playing a video game called Mortal Kombat X. It was the most challenging game in the whole world. Players would try to use their characters that they selected to fight against each other.

The tricky part is to memorize the fatalities. Luckily, Chiaki was able to remember Kitana, the character she chose, fatalities.

'It was all thanks to my gamming skills.' She thought as she turned off the t.v and gather all her stuff to put it in the suitcase.

Her possessions are a Nintendo DSI with a charger, five DSI games, gaming magazines, toothbrush, comb, brush, toothpaste, phone, and a charger. Her house is small with a small garden. It was a small neighborhood so there wasn't a lot of people. Not to mention about how her neighbors were jealous about her gaming skills.

The kitchen was also small with a big round table, a refrigerator, sink, and a dish washer. Her father, Chihiro Fujisaki, was a small, quiet, and sweet teenage boy who created her robotic daughter, Chiaki. He is sitting on the table, waiting for her to discuss about a serious matter.

'I want to protect Chiaki at any cost. Those scientists need to leave her alone. She is not their lab rat.' Chihiro thought, tearfully. He remembered those dreaded words from them.

Last month

"She's not your lab rat. Chiaki wants to embrace her life." Chihiro said, quietly as a group of scientists tried to persuade him to give up her for them.

There is no way he is going to let them use her to perform a life and death experiments such as surviving underwater, fighting a bear, or even worse, trying to escape a maze full of sharp objects.

"Chihiro, this could be the most greatest discovery ever in the name of science. We need to do this." One of the scientist explains.

He didn't even bother to reply because he was busy crying as Chihiro slumps down in his chair. The meeting took place in the office. He was working in a research company called Techno where technicians, scientists, and engineers work together to solve world-wide problems.

They were discussing about robots until their ideas were focusing on Chiaki. Suddenly, he knew this situation would happen. Apparently, they didn't appreciate the idea of him keeping his robotic daughter.

As Chihiro continued to cry, one of the scientists had enough of his weakness and protection towards her.

"You do realize that Chiaki isn't a human begin. She is just a robot. It is impossible for her to live a life like this. She deserves to be a material that will---"

Bam!

The mug flew over the scientist's head and hit the wall which scares him. They looked at a angry Chihiro who has tears falling from his eyes. They were shocked by his behavior.

"I don't give a damn if you guys think she isn't a human being. To me, she will always be my daughter and has kindness inside of her. Robots don't deserve to be put in experiments like hamsters or lab rats. Chiaki wants to learn about life like any human being. So, do me a favor and stop trying to fucking kill her!" Chihiro yelled as he ran out  of the office.

He used to be weak and shy when Chihiro entered Hope's Peak Academy dressed as a girl. Now, he's stronger and isn't afraid to stand up for himself anymore.
