Chapter 5: Chiaki's Sweet Revenge

The trio had enjoyed the party. Unfortunely, the second day was their last stay in the hotel. During the second day, they went separate ways to spend their time alone.

Nagito went to the library and begins to read the part where he left off. Chiaki went to the spa so she can receive her back message. Hajime enjoys swimming in a pool.

'This feels so good.' He thought as the water splashes his face.

When nighttime came by, Hajime and his friends went back to the V.I.P room and changed into their pjs.

"Good night, you guys. Tomorrow is going to be great." Hajime said.

"Hopefully, the bedbugs won't bite any of us." Nagito chuckled.

"I'm sure there wouldn't be any bedbugs tonight." Chiaki laughed.

Hajime claps his hands which made the lights turned off and they fell asleep.  Suddenly, She made sure the boys were still sleeping and quietly made her way into the closet. The closet had a few supplies in there.

The plan was set into action. Since Nagito's bed has a light metal spring underneath his mattress, she places the pool right besides it.

'They're are in for a big surprise.' Chiaki thought as she places the spider with the pole above Hajime's face and went to sleep.

Ring! Ring! Ring!

It was Hajime's cue to turn off his phone. As he slowly opens his eyes, a spider, ten times scarier than a snake, was staring at him.

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!" 

As he shrieks like a person seeing a horror movie, Hajime accidently jumps off his bed and collides into Nagito.

"H-Hajime!?" Nagito blushes when Hajime was on his bed, nose to nose.

"It's not what you think it is. There's was a huge spider hanging above my face and I-"

"Wait a minute. You're scared of that spider?" He questions as he pointed at the spider next to Hajime's bed.

He turns his head and so it was only a toy spider attach to a pole. Frustrated, Hajime sighs heavily. While Nagito tilts his head and raises his eyebrow.

"It was just a silly prank. I'm sure someone wants to have fun." Nagito said.

'I have a bad feeling about this.' He thought. There is something about this prank that's seem suspicious.

Out of nowhere, the bed was pushed up and the boys were thrown into the pool.

Splash!

Not only the pool was covered in whipped cream but it was also filled with root beer. They stood in the pool, speechless.

"That's it! I have enough of this damn prank! I Know it's you, Nagito!"

"What!? Me? Hajime, I didn't create this prank last night. I was sleeping."

"If it wasn't you, then who-"

Click!

Chiaki takes a picture of them, looking upset, with their hair topped with whipped cream. Smiling, she hands the towels to them.

"Thanks for making my sweet revenge successful. Enjoy the root beer float." She said as the bathroom was waiting for her to enter.

The brown haired boy was shocked about the whole scenario. They didn't expect her to pull of this prank. As they get out of the pool, they dried themselves with the towels. There was a huge spill on the floor.

"I have an idea. How about you pack up your stuff while I clean up the spill." Nagito explains with a smile.

"Deal. Thanks, Nagito. You're the best." He replied with a smile.

Despite how the morning is crazy, Nagito knows how to keep his optimism strong.
