Newt's POV
Then he looks at me with pure terror in his eyes and says: "It was about WICKED."
Wait. What?
"Alby, what do you mean?" I ask. "You need to tell me exactly what happened in your dream."
Thomas adds: "If Alby's dreams are like Newt's, then it must be some kind of memory. Maybe we can find out what happened to you."
"Sit down," Alby says, "I'm going to tell you what happened in this dream." We do as we're told and Alby begins: "It's already starting to get blurry again, but I can tell you, what happened was not nice. I was in some sort of laboratorium, lying on a bed. The room was grey, but it had a blue-ish glow. A bunch of doctors were hanging over me. Next to the bed, there was a table, on which lot of creepy objects lay: needles, little knives, wires and cannulas.
The doctors were saying things like: "We're finished. The wall is built around his past life" and "His name is Albert now". I was looking around the room when I suddenly heard a voice. The source of it was a creepy looking guy. He kind of looked like a rat. And on his cote was that label that you have on your badge from work. It said WCKD. Or else, WICKED.
The last thing I remember is that someone injected something in me and everything went dark. Then I woke up."
I'm speechless. This can't be true, right? There must be a very good explanation for this. It is in no way possible that WICKED kidnapped my best friend and held him hostage for two full years.
"Well, shit," Thomas mutters. "Never expected that to happen." I am glad that I sat down earlier, because I don't feel very well.
My voice comes out quiet and shaky when I say: "It could just be a dream, right?" But Thomas throws his hands in the air and shouts: "Are you kidding me, Newt? This could be our first clue to where this dude has been these past two years! We might finally figure something out, for Gods sake! Alby, what do you think? Was it just a dream of was it a memory?"
Alby shrugs. "I don't know. It all felt very real. Why would I dream about WICKED anyway?"
"We should go Arronsson with this," Thomas says.
"Tommy, it's late. Don't you think we just leave it with this today? We'll get back on it tomorrow, but I really want to sleep right now. Alby can sleep on the couch if he wants." With a yawn, I say goodnight to Albs and Thomas finally follows me to the bedroom.
I just hope sleep will come to me after what I learned tonight.

Thomas' POV
School sucks when you don't know what the professor is talking about. I can't seem to get my mind off of Alby and his dream - or memory, 'cause, who knows. There is something really fishy about this whole situation, and I am desperate to find out what it is.
I feel bad for Newt. What if Alby's dream was right, and thee really is something terribly wrong with WICKED. Then Newt would work for a company that isn't exactly what it says it is. And then he might lose his job or whatsoever.
Nevertheless, I want to know what's going on. Maybe it'll even bring us closer to the Ethan and Edward-case, although I don't think it can have something to do with each other.
"Thomas," I hear someone whispering next to me. "Thomas." I turn around to find Luke leaning towards me.
"What is it?" I whisper back to the blonde guy.
"This is boring, right?" Of course, he wouldn't say something interesting. But I guess he's right. I can't keep my head in the course either. So I nod.
