All of BMTH's songs are practically a reflection of my feelings. Oli is so good at writing lyrics, he captures so much in little words. This song is one I can't help but listen over and over again and sing along to at the top of my lungs. Each word I feel inside me. It echoes. This is how I feel. This is us, the depressed. We're the doomed. This is our world. And the part "You must've made some kind of mistake, I asked for death, but instead I'm awake" is the one that shook me. Because that's how i feel most of the time. Like I'm living as a mistake. This song is right now on repeat in my record player and I'm going to listen until I can't because this is that kind of song, the kind you listen to on repeat until you feel better, until you can breathe again. Because sad songs have a way of making you feel better because they take the weight off of your chest for awhile by letting you scream your feelings through the lyrics. Sad songs like this that express our feelings are the things, in my opinion, that makes living worthwhile.
