Friend, Please
I feel for you but when did you believe you were alone
You say that spiders crawled inside and made themselves a home
Where light once wasPetrified of who you are and who you have become
You will hide from everyone, denying you need someone
To exterminate your bonesFriend, please remove your hands from
Over your eyes for me
I know you want to leave but
Friend, please don't take your life away from meLiving like a ghost you walk by everyone you know
You say that you're fine but you have lost your sway and glow
So I stopped by to let you knowFriend, please remove your hands from
Over your eyes for me
I know you want to leave but
Friend, please don't take your life away from meWould you let me know your plans tonight
'Cause I just won't let go 'til we both see the light
And I have nothing else left to say
But I will listen to you all day, yes I willFriend, please remove your hands from
Over your eyes for me
I know you want to leave but
Friend, please don't take your life away from me- Twenty One Pilots

This is a song everybody who feels alone has to listen. This is the truth not all of us get to hear. Not all of us are lucky to have good friends who makes us feel loved.
This song also describes the view of someone who has a depressed or suicidal friend. When you have depression, you get so lost in your own head that you forget that there are actually people who truly care about you. You just feel unworthy, unloved and alone. But the truth is you are not. It's just the sadness in you that makes you feel this way. It clouds your mind so much that's you can't see something so obvious.
This song is the rebellion of someone whose friend doesn't see the fact that he truly cares about them. This song is someone yelling at their friend "I'm here. I love you and I care about you. Please don't leave me alone. I will miss you dearly if you were to be gone. So please, open your eyes and see that you're more than your sadness. I am here for you."
Every time I listen this song, I get shivers. This is what I wanted tohear in the times I felt utterly alone the world. Though it wasn't in person, I'm glad to have heard this song when I did. This song reminded me of my worth and how much I would leave if I were to be gone. So to anyone who feels unworthy, alone or unloved; you are important. You are loved. You are worthy of being alive. If you must, listen this song over and over and over again, just like I did, and someday you will come to see that you are capable of overcoming your sadness and seeing the world in a different light.
