As Kai and Azusa leave the safety of the Kingdom its gates slam shut behind them.
"Okay Azusa, where should we start our search?" Kai said looking around
"Well if I know your father, he loves peace and quiet when he wants rest and he loves the beauty of nature. So let's start there." Azusa said as she points to a beautiful flourishing forest
"Smart, he's my father and even I wouldn't have thought to check there." Kai said walking towards the forest
Azusa follows behind him and they both enter the forest starting their search. After they have been searching for a few hours they find d nothing, but end us stumble upon a bear.
Once the bear is in Azusas' sight she lick her lips and says to Kai, "Can I eat kill it?!"
Kai looks her as if she was crazy, "What no!! If youre hungry then eat some of the food I packed." He says taking his bag off of his back. "I on the other hand will be getting myself a new pet, hold my sword please." Taking his sword and sheathe off of his back.
"Fine." She grabs the bag and the hilt of his sword, but once Kai let go of their sword she falls to the ground then quickly sits up. "Whoa, your sword is heavier than I thought it would be." She says starting to eat.
"Yea, it's made of...... I forgot. " Kai says slowly walking towards the bear
"Don't die." Azusa said eating
"Shh." Kai whispered getting closer
As Kai gets closer the bear notices him and stands up and starts to roar getting hostile.
"Calm down buddy, I'm not trying time hurt you." Kai said putting his hand out towards the bear.
The bears roar turns into a a soft growl as it starts going back to all fours. It then goes to sniff Kai's hand, Kai takes it as a sign that it is calm and starts to pet it.
"Azusa look, he likes me." Kai said
"Impressive, even animals love you. You're just a lovable person all around aren't you, now lets go." Azusa said waiting with his bag on her back
"Right, come on and get on Mr.Fluffy and we can move on." Kai said walking to get his sword.
Azusa walks to Mr.Fluffy and gets on his back, "Comfy, and his can you carry that sword around without toppling over? "
"I've been using every since I was little, so I guess I'm used to it." Kai said putting it back on his back
After Kai gets his sword he joins Azusa on Mr.Fluffy and he starts to walk them to the other end of the forest. As he walks Kai drifts off to sleep, and before they know it they are almost out
"Kai wake up! We're almost out of the forest." Azusa said shaking him awake
Kai wakes up with such a sudden movement he falls off of Mr.Fluffy. "Well..... I'm up."
Mr.Fluffy stops and waits for Kai, but when Kai gets up he doesn't get back on instead he walks towards an oddly shaped tree.
"Kai what are you doing?!" Azusa said
Kai walks up to the tree and puts his ear on it, "This tree doesn't seem right, it doesn't even feel like a real tree." He then proceeds to knock on the tree and hears an echo. "This can't be real! It's hollow!" Kai said feeling like he solved a mystery.
"Kai, we don't have time to investigate a fake tree, we're supposed to be looking for your father remember! " Azusa said with a tone of annoyance in her voice
"Yes I remember, but what if he is just in here? " Kai said trying to sway Azusa into investigate with him.
"Fine I'll help, but if he's not here then we leave immediately." Azusa said getting off of Mr.Fluffy
"Yea yea, of course." Kai said not really listening
Azusa walks over and grabs a branch and pulls it trying to climb the tree, but it turns out to be a lever and the front of the tree opens and it reveals a huge drop into an entire civilization below ground.
"Whoa." Kai said looking down amazed
"It does look pretty amazing, but there is no way we can survive a drop like that." Azusa said beside Kai looking at the civilization.
"Says you! " Kai says as he takes a step back
"Kai, don't you dare." Azusa said just as Kai jumped down into the tree. She then lets out a sigh and says, "He did it anyway."
Kai falls and is stopped right before he hits the ground and put down on his feet by an air current made by the people, triggered when someone jumps down.
"That was awesome! Azusa come! " Kai said shouting up at her
