I wake up, check my clock, and of course it's 1:45 in the afternoon. That probably because i stayed up basically all night trying to go to sleep. But, other than that something smells... good!
After I brush my teeth and wash my face I go downstairs to the kitchen to find my mom making breakfast. I didn't want to get in her way so I said " What are you making? It smells delicious! " " Eggs, Bacon, Grits, and Sausage. Glad it um smells okay! " she says, giggling. My mom is like a best friend to me haha! She's the best.
She gives me my plate and sits down with me to eat. I take one bite of everything to see how it tastes since it 'smells okay'. Haha. Everything is wonderful. " Mom, it's all so good! " " Glad you like it, hunny. " Could my mom get any better?! I was really hungry so I asked for more because it was very good and I just seemed to be hungry! I definitely didn't do it so my brother wouldn't get any..
Just to ruin the moment, Dalton comes downstairs. He sees me and mom eating, looks over at the stove, then the microwave, and asks " Um, where's my food?! " Mom replies " Sorry hun, Haleigh was really hungry. I'll make you more in a minute, okay? " " No, no it's fine! I guess I don't need any food saved or anything, whatever! " He looks at me with a dirty look and mumbles " greedy. " and sticks his tongue out. Brothers are so immature!
