Chapter 9- Jealousy?

I knew exactly why when I seen him hanging.. in the hall with my friend ... Alina?! Alina knows Michael and I are dating and I love him so very much. Why is she flirting with him? Should I ask her or not? Why does life have to be so complicated!

I walk over to them and say " Hi babe " to Michael and he says hi back. After that, there is an awkward silence filtering the air. Alina is still standing here with us but I dont know why. I really wanna know whether she was flirting with Michael or just friendly talking to him-- by MY locker-- before class-- and giggling like crazy.

The only thing I am concerned about is if he's letting her flirt with him or if he is flirting with her back.

The silence goes on for what seems like FOREVER until the bell rings and Alina says " Bye Mike! Bye Haleigh! " Alina is one of my closest friends. She would NEVER hit on my boyfriend, right?

I have 1st period with my bae ( Michael, duhhh ) so we walk together as we do on any other usual weekday. He carries my books like a fine gentleman since I have to hold my... Crutches. I mean I'm not proud of crutches-- in fact, they leave brush burns on my sides from rubbing up against my skin from whenever I walked. I dont quite know how I got a brush burn when I always where a tank top underneath my shirts. It's whatever.

I just had to ask Michael because it was burning me up..

" Why was Alina waiting by my locker? "

but I giggle at the end of that sentence so it doesn't seem like I'm a complete jealous idiot.

" She was just there whenever I got there. I didn't like invite her. "

" Well it looked like you guys were having a good time for just being a coincidence that you both showed up at my locker. "

" You dont think... "

" Sorry babe, I know you wouldn't cheat or anything. Sorry about that-- I'm just concerned.. She NEVER waits at my locker. "

" So you believe me? I'm sorry if it bothered you. I won't do it again. I promise.. " he says.

" Alright. I believe you and its fine. I just didn't know, I wasnt exactly thinking about what could've been happening. " I reply

By that time, we've reached our classroom. The bell hadn't rang yet but it did about 6 seconds after we walked through the door.

Michael and I don't sit by one another in this class-- geography. We have assigned seats. I sit in the third row and the third seat. Michael sits in the first row and the first seat.

We can't talk to one another in that class unless we do partner work.

Maybe I am over-exaggerating. Am I? I don't know. I need to focus on school work and education before relationships. But I do love Michael.

I focus on my teacher, Mrs. Victor, for the rest of the period so that I can pass his test on Wednesday.

After school, Michael comes over to hang for a while. Usually my mother doesn't allow it because my foot even though it really has nothing to do with that fact.

When Michael comes over he takes off his jacket and comes upstairs with me. When he comes in my room we mainly just watch tv and eat snacks and talk.

As I turn on the tv, he asks if I was mad at him earlier. I haven't really thought about it but I tell him "No, like I said earlier, I was just confused... Like a... Camel." He says "Like a camel? *laughing* Are you sure?" His laugh and his smile makes me feel like he's hugging my heart and I'm enjoying every moment of it. So I say "I don't know. *giggling* I just said anything haha."

We watch tv for some more time -- Disney channel -- and then it gets a little late so he has to go home, sadly.

The next day at school I see her again trying to flirt with Michael and get on my nerves. I'm starting to see her bad sides now. :(

I thought she was my friend. Whateves

School was very long for some reason. Its like the classes make it even longer which is so annoying. Why cant the fun days be long? Why the boring days?

After school I decide to text Alina because I'm curious; is she trying to annoy me or does she just like Michael. Either way, IT'S ANNOYING ME!! I text her and say "Hey, do you like Michael because it seems like you're trying to flirt with him.." Its like she seen my text message before I even sent it because she texted back like 3 seconds after i sent it.

She says "Well... He's funny, smart, and cute. What'd you expect." I FREAKING KNEW IT. Why would she even... Dang.. I have No real friends. None.. At all. I text her back "Well he's MY boyfriend, i noticed all of that.. But can you stop flirting with him, he's TAKEN." she says "Well if i can flirt with him enough he'll find out he really likes me and not you." Is this girl serious?!?!
