Chapter 7- O.M.G!

       After getting my cast I sit next to my friends in the waiting room. We all chat, but we keep in mind that my parents are right next to us so we keep it simple. We talk about what we can do since I kind of... broke my foot. My crew actually wants to still go out and do things with me. That's squad goals. For real!
       When we drop off Nevin and Tori we go home. It felt good to be home where it's warm and I can just lay on my bed and read. I wanna take my shower but I don't know what to do with my cast. School is gonna be the worst with everyone asking what's wrong. Ugh!
       After that, I ask my mom what to do with my cast so I can finally go to sleep. She tells me to wrap it up in the shower with a plastic bag. Tbh is that even gonna work?! I take my shower and go to sleep. Its been a looong day!
        When I wake up for school I realize how much of a struggle it was to get ready. Like you don't even know how hard it was!¡!¡! Then I go to school, but my mother takes me because I already know that if I was to ride the bus, it would've been super hard with crutches and I would've fallen down. I would have been really embarrassed and it's right in the morning so everyone would talk about it. Like ohh noo! That's not for meee!
         When I reach the school property I feel so sorry for... myself! This day is going to be the worst. And with my broken foot, me and Tori have gotten boyfriends. Everyone is going to talk about me alllll dayyyyy!! I know that sounds like the best thing ever but it's a lot of attention and I HATE having a lot of attention like everyone constantly talks about you and you don't know if it's good or bad about you. Then drama starts. Then fights and arguments start. Then school suspension. Then failing grades. Then no diploma. Then no college to go to. Then no good job. Then no marriage or a spoiled child to my loved one because I can't pay for it. And last but not... well actually least I live lonely because my lover brakes up with me because I'm like so poor and I can't get a good job. I guess I'm just saying, DONT GET ALOT OF ATTENTION because that's where you end. Well it could happen, haha!
       So I'm in my first period and I see Michael. Okay I may have a crush on Michael, oops. I realize that I have a boyfriend and cheating is totally wrong and I don't wanna be a cheater. But I now also realize that I am not going to be able to have fun in school or anything with Nevin because I won't see him. I won't get to hug him at the end of the day because I can't see him. I can't sit with him at lunch because I CANT SEE HIM.. I realize he's not the one for me right now... I don't even like him that much, if you think about it he is cute... But we have no physical contact. We don't hang out outside the crew time and when we're all together we don't have any time for just us.. Maybe Michael is the one for me. I don't know. My life is in a bunch of knots currently.
       After thinking and not paying attention in class for 35 minutes, I know what I'm going to do now. I'm going to brake up with Nevin. He is a very nice guy and all but he's not for me. We just aren't... relationship goals.
       Now that there is only 10 minutes of class left, I decide to talk to Michael after class. I'm not gonna ask him out or anything but just have a friendly conversation even though we only have 5 minutes to get our stuff from out lockers and get to our class. I'll just be a little late.. Hah. I'm such a savage, hahaha.
       After class I stop Michael and say " Skating was fun, well without the broken leg part. " He must've forgot or something because he then looked at my boot for my foot and says " I'll help you with your books until you get better... Well if you want, if it's okay with you. " I blushed. A lot. I can't help but to blush. I say, smiling, " Yes, thank you.. So much. " Then he helps me to my next class carrying my books. It was so nice of him to think to be late to his classes to help me with mine. I'll make sure to let his teachers know that he's helping me.
       After school, I feel really bad to be braking up with Nevin. I don't think he's really into me. I decide to let him down as easily as I possibly can without hurting him. I text him and say " Sorry Nevin, this relationship isn't exactly how I expected. I really like you and stuff but we never see each other alone. I'm so sorry but we can't go on, we have to brake up. I hope you find your true match. We can still be great friends!                          Sincerely, Haleigh Buchheit. "
That was a let him down easy text, right? Okay so yeah, I feel bad but it's going to be alright.
       Hours later of doing absolutely nothing because I don't wanna run into Nevin anywhere, it's time to take my shower and go to sleep. Just thinking about how he feels is giving me pain. I just won't think about it.. Tori then texts me and says " Why would you brake up with Nevin?! We were dating each other's brothers. That was goals! You should've talked to me about it first?! Ughhh!!! He just texted me and told me. You only dated for a day, goodness! " I am so angry at her text message. WHY IS IT HER BUSINESS. I don't wanna deal with drama so I just ignore her text and go to sleep.
       When I go to school Michael waits for me so he can help me with my books. Look how sweet. When we're walking to my class, he asks " Did you and Nevin brake up? Not being in your business or anything but I've heard. " " Yeah, who told you? Not trying to be rude or anything. " " I overheard people talking about it. " " Oh. " It then goes silent for about 5 minutes when we reach the classroom and say goodbye to one another. This is pretty chill how we're close friends.
       After school I eat some cereal. While eating I get a text. Its probably Nevin or Tori. But Tori is mad at me so probably not her. I wonder if it's Nevin. I realize I'm like stupid for creating so much suspense when I can figure it out right now. So I check my text and it's from...

Michael!
Michael's text reads " I know you just got over your brake up with Nevin, but I was wondering if you'd like... To umm... Go out. I'm so sorry if Nevin is still in your head. Its your choice, if your not ready for dating again yet, it's fine. " HE IS SO SWEET. I reply with " Nevin isn't in my head, Its fine. But YES!! I would love to! " Then, we text and text some more but then we end with goodnight since its getting late.
