A New Friend, New Love

Violet's p.o.v
I didn't know where we were go or what we'd do when we got. I wanna go home, I thought to herself, regretting my decision. I looked around the small space craft, it was one like the ones my papa would take apart and sell parts when business was slow. There was no need to be buckled in so I took off the safety belt and started to roam around the platform of the control room, looking through the massive sheet of glass that separated us from space. The distant stars had a dim glow to them, like the galaxy was depressed, as if there had been a lost that affected everything the black sky touched.

"It still looks beautiful out there," the voice of Master Luke, as I was now to call him, spoke to me, most likely he had been reading my thought. I did not respond. What was I suppose to say to him? All I could do was sit on the floor and continue my observations, again he interrupted me by sitting next to me. I looked up at him and he looked back with a soft wrinkled smile, it was hard not to smile back. "I know it's hard but as you learn you'll understand more about this way of life, like when you understood that you had to leave your home and father." He explained slowly making sure I got every word. A few moments past before I started to ask questions about my new life, about the boy who was on the ship as well, etc, Master Luke answered all the questions with solid answers.

Eventually, he left to go do whatever jedis do, again I was left alone to look upon the stars. I was bored. REALLY bored. I could feel the eyes of Ben, I believe was his name, staring at me from a hiding spot on the other side on the control panels. And maybe this force stuff was really inside me so I attempted to reach other to him. I could hear him breathing, I felt his muscles flex and he tried not to fall face first into the cold metal floor but to no avail. With a thump he fell, I turned around quickly and stood to help him out, "ya know, if you're gonna spy on someone, try bring motionless," I giggle pulling him up by the arm. He stood there blushing, lost in thought, trying to find the words to say.

"H-hello, um I'm Ben," he finally spoke up, obviously too shy to spark a conversation. "So I've heard." I commented taking in his features, I noticed the family resemblance between Ben and master Luke, which made me very more curious about his parents back home. Home. I couldn't think of that word without pain in my heart, I knew Ben could sense it. He awkwardly wrapped his arms round me and gave me a sympathetic hug and said, "I know the pain you must be feeling, I've felt it too."

I held onto him and he did the same, we both knew that'd we have to grow with each other. Luckily, we could connect on this level and perhaps be great friends.

Years later...
No p.o.v

"Ha! You'll never catch me, Solo!" Violet yelled at her best friend, running through the thick forest that surround the Jedi training ground. The 20 year old was full of happiness as she once was as a little girl, her hair darker and reached down to the small of her back. Her eyes were still a vibrant shade of purple, you could get lost into them and fall in love. As one certain man did. His voice echoed through the trees, begging Violet to wait for him. Her running slowed to a walk then stopped in front of a large oak tree. Ben walked up to her after he caught up, "well I believe we're deep enough in the forest to start, don't you think, Vi?" He pinned her to the tree and kissed her plump lips passionately like, like he was about to lose her.

As they grew up together, their friendship blossomed, making them inseparable. They were always together, always training with each other, never letting anything get between them. People saw the love they had for each other, even Luke saw this and tried to separate them so they wouldn't get attached to each other. But the more Luke tried, the more angry and disobedient Ben got. He and Violet had become distant from everyone, always by them selves, having a secret love affair with each other, against all Jedi code. They been together for a year now.

He had mentioned his plans of becoming an apprentice of Snoke to Violet, always wondering if she'd join him. Of course she would always say yes because no matter what side he was on, she'd always be with him. So that made their dark plan to leave the Jedi order.

"Violet, it's time" Ben looked at her kissing her one last time.
