Chapter 11 - Shape-Shifter

Okay here it is chapter 11 :)

We arrived at the bonfire. There were about 16 boys in their teens and they all looked a like, black hair, russet skin color, and muscles.

I already knew 10. There were also Leah, and 3 other girls and 3 grown ups, a man in a wheel chair and another old man, with a woman. 

The woman turned to Seth and me and smiled a heart warming smile. Seth smiled back, so did I. Seth pulled me toward her, she kind of looked like Seth. "Melody this my mom Sue" He said, I smiled at her, she put her hand out, I shook it.

"So you must be Seth's girlfriend" I smiled at the word. Girlfriend, I liked it. "Yes, nice to meet you" I smiled at her, she was beautiful.

"Well Melody how about we go meet the other guys" Seth interrupted, "Uh okay" I said, we walked away to a group of guys and the 3 girls I didn't know. They all turned to me and smiled, some flirty and some friendly. "Guys this Melody my girlfriend" I blushed at the way Seth said it. "Hi" I waved "Hey" I heard all of them mumble.

I got to know them there was Brian and Chad, they were both 13, Matt who was 17 and his girlfriend Lindsey. Andrew and Gabe, they were both 15 and Caylie who was Andrews girlfriend. Cole who was 16 and his girlfriend Macey. They all seemed really nice.

We sat down on a log and waited for Billy to start telling the legends of the Quileute.

After he was finished I was fascinated with the legend, the third wife had so much courage. 

I was so into my thoughts that I didn't hear Seth call me name until he crushed his lips to mine. I stood in shock, not moving my lips. He pulled away and smiled, i smiled back.

"Well that's probably the best way to get me out of my thoughts" I said, he chuckled.

"I thought it would" I giggled. He stood up "I'll be back I'm gonna get some food before Paul finishes it all". I giggled, everyone here ate like pigs well almost everyone.

I was sitting in silence staring into the flames, when I felt someone sit next to. I turned my head expecting it to be Seth but it was Chad. I smiled "Hi there" I said, he grinned "Hey pretty thing" I giggled.

"So melody right?" I nodded my head "Ever thought of dating a younger boy" He winked, I started laughing "No I stick to boys who have already been potty trained" He laughed.

"Your funny Jalapeno" I looked at him confused "What did you just call me?" I asked "A Jalapeno, you know 'cause your hot" I giggled "Listen Chase don't even try, I'm dating Seth" I responded.

"Oh come can I at least have a kiss on the cheek" I was about to say no when I got an idea "Okay close your eyes" He closed them and leaned his cheek to me.

I pushed him and he fell into a puddle, everyone around us started laughing, I joined in. "Your cold woman" He said, I giggled.

Seth came up behind Chase "Walk away Chase" He said , he looked a little mad. I looked at him and smiled, his frown disappeared and was replaced by a grin. He sat down and I kissed him on the cheek.

He put his arm around me, I leaned into his chest while he ate, I could hear his heartbeat, his and mine were beating in unison. 

I felt safe with him, like everything around us just disappeared and it was just me and him in our own little world. I closed my eyes and saw 2 little kids about the ages of 2 and 3, a little girl and boy running around. Suddenly two grown ups appeared, I think their the parents.
