"So,how is it? Is she pregnant?" her mom excitedly asked the doctor.
"Yes. Congratulations! She's exactly 3 months pregnant." nakangiting sabi ni Dra. Estrada.
"Oh my God! I'm gonna be a Lola!" her mom beamed because of happiness.
She just smiled on her mom's reaction.
"I'll just give her vitamins and list down the things she must not do and the food she must not eat."
"Thanks doc."
Palabas na sila ng ospital ng magsalita siya. Kanina pa kasi siya tahimik pagdating nila dito.
"Mommy,don't you think dad will get angry when he knows about this?" may alinlangan niyang tanong.
"Anak,you know how open-minded your dad is right? Kung magagalit man siya,I'm sure hindi rin magtatagal. You're our only daughter and we love you very much. He'll understand." her mom assured her.
She sighed. Aaminin niya,kinakabahan talaga siya sa magiging reaksyon ng daddy niya. Lalo na't wala siyang maihaharap na ama ng dinadala niya.
If he only loves me. Wala na sanang magiging problema.
Then she sighed again. Nakikita niya minsan sa mga newspapers and magazines si DJ. One of the most sought out bachelor.
She's just wondering. Bakit kaya hindi pa sila kinakasal ni Tippy? After 3 months for sure nagkabalikan na ang dalawa.
Dumaan muna sila saglit sa botika para bilhin ang mga niresetang vitamins ng doktor bago sila umuwi.
And fortunately,andun na ang dad niya pagdating nila sa bahay. Now she's nervous again.
"Uhm,hi dad." she greeted as she kissed his cheek.
"Hi. Saan kayo galing?" he asked after kissing her mom.
"We just went to the hospital." her mom casually answered.
"Huh? Why?" takang tanong ng dad niya.
"Ah hon,I think we should talk about it first."
"About what? Why don't you just tell me directly? Kinakabahan tuloy ako sa kilos niyo. Is there any problem?"
"Nothing. It's just about something. Let's go to your office?" nakangiting sabi ng mommy niya at akmang hihilahin ang dad niya patungong opisina nito dito sa kanilang bahay.
"Uh--mom." sabi niya.
Tumingin sa kanya ang kanyang ina na may nangungusap na mga mata.
It's now or never.
She took a deep breath before....
"Dad,I'm pregnant."
"What?!" napapiksing tanong ng dad niya na siyang naging dahilan ng pagkabitaw ng pagkakahawak ng mommy niya sa braso nito. "Is this some kind of a joke?"
"Hon,calm down." sabi ng mommy niya habang hinahagod ang likod nito.
"Chandria,you better talk and explain to me about what you said." seryosong sabi ni Theo.
Napakagat labi siya at nangingilid na ang luha habang pinipigilang mapahikbi.
"Buntis po ako dad." sabi niya sa nanginginig na boses.
"Yeah I heard it. That's what you said earlier. But I wanted to know further information. With whom? Don't tell me it's with Enrique?!" galit na tanong nito.
