Fanfic: Jay Park changed my life!

Singing and Admitting

Let's fast forward to a month or so later. Ellie began doing her studio and writing work at AOMG. She wrote some things Jay was looking into using for OST work. Ellie did great with instrumental work so she made a bunch for Jay. She also began writing her own work. She's not really a singer by trade but she sang in her demos. Some people were already buying work from her and Jay was impressed. And of course he got a cut from all her work since he's the CEO (because she's his recruit), because that's just business. Ellie wondered what ever happened to that song Jay bought off of her ever since she got here. He brought in many vocalists to sing it and the track still isn't done. Well, her question would be answered today. Jay came into her office sometime after lunch. 

"Hey short stack," Jay called. "I have a name you know..." Ellie huffed. "Ellie," Jay said, returning to being serious. "Yes Jay? What is it?" Ellie asked. "That song I bought off of you..." he started. "Oh no! He wants his money back... Its's awful," Ellie mentally cried. "Yes?" Ellie asked. "I can't find a vocalist who's voice does your song justice... To be honest, I love your demo the most... Can you make a full version with me?" Jay asked kindly. Ellie looked at Jay, somewhat horrified. "Y-you want me?" Ellie asked shyly. "Yes you! Will you do it?" Jay asked kindly. "W-well if you insist," Ellie said nervously. "Excellent. I'd like to do that now," Jay said cutely. "Okay," Ellie said. Jay took her hand in his and pulled her up in a somewhat princely way. "Let's go short stack," Jay said. "Way to ruin the moment Jay... wait what moment? Him holding my hand? I like him holding my hand? WHATS'S HAPPENING TO ME?!"  Ellie mentally argued as she followed Jay into his studio. "Can I warm up in another room?" Ellie asked shyly. Jay opened his room that had a piano and left Ellie in there. She warmed up her voice in her usual manner whilst playing the piano. Jay chuckled at this behind the door. Once Ellie was ready she left the room to join Jay. He snuck up behind her and yelled "Boo!" and it scared her. "Jerk..." Ellie muttered. 

Ellie got inside the recording booth and shut the door. She put on the headphones and got up to the mic. Jay had her do a mic test before they began. Once that was done they began the recording. Ellie kept getting nervous and messing up. Jay noticed and paused the recording. He told Ellie to come out and take a break. "I'm sorry," Ellie said, hanging her head. "It's okay. Why do you keep losing confidence? Your voice gets trembly too," Jay asked. "Maybe because you're my boss and I was scared to disappoint you..." Ellie muttered. "You could never disappoint me, princess," Jay said then ruffling her hair. Ellie felt her cheeks get hot at his words, so she looked down at her feet. "Lighten up. I'll get us some tea and we can try again in a bit," Jay said then leaving the room. He came back with two teas, which they sat and drank together. Once they were done with tea, Ellie felt a bit better. Ellie went back into the recording room and Jay hit record. Ellie not only sang the song perfectly but blew Jay away. "That's my girl!" Jay cheered. 

Ellie left the recording room and went back to Jay. "I'll render it and send it when it's done. You can end early today," Jay said kindly. "Thank you," Ellie said shyly. "No, thank you," Jay said then giving Ellie a hug. Ellie left the room and was greeted by Hoody in the hall. "He must've hugged you or something," Hoody teased. "Yeah, it was embarrassing!" Ellie whined. "Oooh a story!" Hoody cheered. Ellie explained how she kept messing up and how Jay gave her a pep talk, tea, and a hug. "Girl he likes you... And you like him," Hoody said with an eye roll. "Well the second one is true," Ellie muttered. "YOU FINALLY ADMIT IT JEEZ," Hoody cheered. "Not so loud..." Ellie scolded.
