Fanfic: Jay Park changed my life!

We won on a music show?!

Ellie was working in her studio, minding her own business. Her boss Jay Park barged in her office like he does anytime he needs her. "Hey boss, what's up?" she asked him, standing up from her chair and walking to him. "So... our song is a hit. And we're performing it on music shows starting tomorrow," Jay said proudly. This was a mean for celebration, but Ellie was paralyzed with fear. "B-but that means... I have to sing live..." Ellie muttered. "Yeah, with me rapping! It'll be great," Jay said, excited. "Hehe... great," Ellie said with a sigh. "What's wrong princess?" Jay asked, rubbing her upper back. "I have stage fright," Ellie said softly. "Awh is that all? Don't worry so much!" Jay said then giving her a hug. "You'll have cool clothes and makeup on. And you're with me! It'll be fine," Jay said encouragingly. "I-I guess so..." Ellie muttered. "Please?" Jay asked using aegyo which was undeniably cute. "Y-yes boss..." Ellie said with a sigh. "You can call me Jay you know," Jay said then ruffling her hair. "Let's practice now," Jay said. "Okay," Ellie said. Jay took Ellie by the hand to the practice stage. She was blushing hardcore. The two of them practiced so hard they could do their performance while sleeping. Jay ordered takeout and the two ate together, before parting ways.

The next day came. Ellie woke up and had a cup of coffee, then went to the salon to go get done up. She left after two hours or so, looking completely flawless. Wardrobe got her dressed after she ate some lunch of course. Ellie was riding in the car with Jay, nervous as all hell. She wasn't talking much and her hands were shaking. Once they arrived at music bank, Ellie almost fell out of the car being so nervous. Jay caught her in his arms in a sort of embrace, then he actually embraced her. "Take it, easy princess, just relax," Jay whispered in her ear. "I'll try," Ellie breathed. The two parted from their embrace. Jay put his arm around Ellie's waist and they walked in together. They walked in and got their singing checked and had a mini rehearsal. Then they were re-mic'd and told to wait backstage until they got the call. 

SHINee, GOT7, Block B, and a few solo artists performed. Ellie and Jay were last. Jay gave Ellie one last hug; a good warm one that made her feel safe for some reason. The two of them were called by the stage hand and their wireless beeped. They got into position. Jay flashed Ellie one last smile before the stage. They rocked the stage; Ellie didn't feel nervous at all. She and Jay executed their dance moves perfectly, and no major vocal mishaps happened. The crowd was cheering loudly. The two of them ended on one last vocal lick and bowed at the audience. The two of them went off stage to get their equipment removed. It went fast because the winners were going to be called out soon. Ellie then released a big breath she didn't know was holding. She felt her legs tremble and all her nervous energy hit. Jay wrapped an arm around Ellie's waist and rubbed her back gently. "We did it princess," he said softly, but happily. Ellie heard GOT7, SHINEE and her duo get called for the top 3 so they had to come out. Jay took Ellie's hand in his, making her blush but she didn't seem to care. They went out and stood in between GOT7 and SHINee. The MC began speaking about how tough the competition was, and here were the votes. GOT7's counter stopped first, so they got 3rd place. It was between SHINee and the duo. SHINee's counter stopped and Ellie/ Jay's counter still went up. They won first place! They beat out SHINee by 1000 points. 

Ellie was awestruck; she was sure they wouldn't win. Jay smiled at her cute, baffled self. He handed her the trophy and took the mic. "I'd like to thank everyone for being kind enough to vote for this song. Please buy the album when it drops next week. I'd also like to thank my co-writer and singer, who dances surprisingly well, Ellie. I'm so glad I stumbled upon her one day, even though I kind of got her fired from her old job..." Jay said kindly. "You did get me fired!" Ellie chimed in, making everyone laugh. Jay put the mic near her mouth. "I'd like to thank Jay for taking a chance on me, and signing me to the label. I don't think I'd have as much fun teaching to be honest..." Ellie said kindly. The MC's cut in so they could cue the encore. Ellie and Jay danced whilst singing, taking turns holding the trophy. Everyone on stage gave congratulatory hugs and bows. SHINee gave Ellie one last congratulations because they were happy she won. Key gave Ellie a hug and slipped her his phone number, walking away flirty. Jay looked somewhat jealous. 

He took Ellie's hand in his and said "Let's go short stack,". "I hate being called short stack! I'm not pancakes!" Ellie whined. "Well then stop seducing strange men in front of me," Jay muttered. "HA YOU'RE JEALOUS!" Ellie exclaimed. "I have to protect you from all those stars who just want you to make money," Jay huffed. "But you just want me for money," Ellie said. SHINee could be heard laughing from a distance, hearing the spectacle. "PSH NOOO... You're entertaining too," Jay scoffed. "OH I AMUSE YOU?! Glad someone's laughing," Ellie joked. "Now you've been downgraded to hobbit as your nickname," Jay said, pulling her along. "Come along hobbit," Jay said, carrying her like a log over his shoulder. "OKAY I'M SORRY YOU'RE JEALOUS!" Ellie said, whilst laughing. "Quiet hobbit," Jay said as they walked out, he still carrying her. SHINee heard their whole spectacle and they were still laughing. 

"Damn he's super jealous. It's kind of amusing," Key said. Key smiled when his phone beeped. Ellie had sent her number and a contact picture. "She's cute, this aught to be fun," Key murmured. 

What does Key mean by that?!
