~Lily's Point Of View~
Wow, I was so nervous. Today was the day of Ty's hearing.
We were pulling into the courthouse now.
"It's going to be okay..." Brooke soothed.
"I hope so..." I breathed.
As we took our seats in the courtroom the judge announced that it was time to begin.
"Please bring forth Ty Daniels." He spoke and in walked Ty, locked in handcuffs, wearing an orange jumpsuit.
Seeing Ty the way he was, rugged and sad made me glad I had the girls plus Austin and Will by my side. Also there was Oliver and Maria: Our secret weapon.
"I would like to ask Lily Austins to the stand." The prosecutor stated.
I inhaled deeply and shakily made my way towards the stand.
After I had taken my oath, the prosecutor stared at me with her beady eyes.
"So, Miss Lily. The night you were assaulted..." She began and I shivered at the memory of it. I glanced at Ty and he looked as if he could break down in tears or punch a wall.
"What happened?" She finished.
"I was at a party with my friends, when my ex-boyfriend, Mason, took me. He brought me to this small shack in the middle of no where. I just knew I was going to die. He was very abusive. I remember lying there on the floor. He kept telling me all these awful things." I shuttered.
"Like?" The prosecutor spat.
"Like he was going to rape me! That he was going to kill my friends. And kill me!" I exclaimed.
"But, he didn't did he?" She asked, skeptically.
"Obviously not! Because Ty found me and saved me! If it wasn't for him, I'd be dead!" I practically yelled, on the verge of tears.
"Where did you and Mason meet?" She asked.
"Objection, your Honor. That has nothing to do with this case."
"Agreed. Miss Miller, please continue on a more relevant topic." The judge declared.
"Yes, your Honor. But Miss Austins, what I don't get is that you and Mr. Mason were in critical care where as Mr. Daniels, had merely a bruise and cut lip." Miss Miller stated.
"Mason tried to kill and rape me. Ty saved me. That's my story. And I have proof." I maliciously sneered at her.
"What proof?" Miss Miller laughed. I just stared at her.
"I'm finished your honor." She scoffed.
"Please step down, Miss Austins."
"I'd like to call Miss Maria to the stand." Ty's defendant Mrs. Davis stated.
Maria strolled up to the stand.
"I was informed that you and your partner have filmed this event, correct?" She asked.
"Correct." Nodded Maria.
"Do you have a copy of this with you?" Asked the judge.
"Yes Sir, I do." Maria replied. As an officer carried a small tape to the judge.
"Ah, yes. Well this will have to be looked at furthermore." He declared.
"Miss Maria, what do you recall of that night?" Miss Davis asked.
I was shaking so hard, I couldn't help my nerves. Ty turned around and gave me the saddest look ever. A tear rolled down his cheek as he turned back around.
Wow...
I can't believe this...
"Oliver and I were out for a jog when we heard a woman scream. We ran in the direction of the screams which led us to a shack, just across from our home. Once we had rushed home and dialled 911, we ran back to provide help. But it was to late. As we had thought Mason was already dead and Lily had already been raped. Both of these actions performed by Ty. There he stood standing over Lily and Mason with a metal pole! He attempted to murder Mason! And he raped Lily! We got it on tape!" Maria screamed. "He's guilty!"
"What?!" Brooke shrieked.
"No!" McKinlee protested.
"THAT'S A LIE!" I yelled. "She's lying!"
"Silence! Order in my court!" The judge ordered.
"Miss Maria, are you sure?" Asked Miss Davis.
"Positive." She sneered.
"Stop! She's lying!" Oliver objected.
"Oliver! Shut up!" Maria yelled.
"Order!"
"Your Honor, I'd like to call Mr. Oliver to the stand." Miss Davis stated.
Oliver gave Maria an apologetic look as she shot daggers at him.
Ty turned around and looked at Austin with a shocked look on his face. Something told me it had nothing to do with what we had just heard but everything to do with Maria.
"Oh my gosh. Maria..." Austin quietly gasped.
"Mr. Oliver, please tell us what you recall of that night?" Miss Davis asked.
"Well, what my cousin has just told you was a complete lie. I'm sorry. That's a fake tape too. Ty is innocent. Yes, Maria and I were out jogging when we heard a scream. We rushed to the shack and saw Lily with Mason standing over her. That's when Ty pulled up in his truck. Once Maria saw his face she instantly remembered him. He was he ex boyfriend. They broke up last year because she was leaving for college. But when she returned and Ty had moved on, she was furious and went crazy. I'm her cousin. We obviosly aren't really dating." Oliver explained.
I was speechless.
"We rushed home to call 911 but Ty beat us to it. When we ran back, we saw Mason and Ty fighting. Ty was fighting in self defense. Mason was holding a gun. Lily was lying on the floor beaten and bruised. Once Ty had disarmed Mason, he had then found a pole to use and struck at Ty. Ty dodged most of them, but then Ty had finally gotten to Mason for good. He beat up Mason in complete defense for his and Lily's lives. Ty's innocent. He didn't attempt to murder Mason nor Lily. He saved her from the monster of man, Mason." Oliver finished.
Just as Oliver went to step down, he turned to the judge, feeling around his jacket pocket.
"Oh, and here's the real tape."
"Would the defendant like to call anyone else?" Asked the judge.
"No, sir."
"Prosecutor?"
"No, your Honor.
"Very well. All rise." The judge called.
"I hear by proclaim Ty Daniels still guilty, until further notice."
"WHAT?!" I screamed. "NO! You can't do this!"
I screamed, yelled and even tried to grab Ty. I took his face in my hands and looked into his blue, tear filled eyes. We were both crying as I felt guards pull Ty away from me.
I turned to look at Ty one last time as he managed to mouth 3 little words just before the doors slammed behind him.
"This is goodbye."
