Promise

~Levi's POV~
"Eren! I'm back!" I called and walked up the stairs. "Hehe...are you still asleep...?" I said a little softer as I walked into my room. I could see a lump where I guessed Eren was and I ran over, jumping beside him on the bed. "Eren!" I smiled slightly and ripped away the blankets to surprise him. I tilted my head slightly and poked his cheek. "Oi...Eren...?" I hummed. He turned his head and looked at me with year filled eyes and stains on his cheeks where the tears had fallen previously.
"I'm so sorry..." He whimpered and I frowned slightly.
"What? Eren what's wrong?" I said in a voice much softer than my normal tone. I saw him flinch at the sound and I started to get worried. I kicked of my shoes and climbed under the blankets with him, hugging him to my chest. "Shh...hey...? Eren talk to me..." I whispered, running my hands through his hair. Then I noticed a fresh angry mark on his shoulder. "Eren...Eren please!" I said urgently, what had he done!?
"I'm sorry! Erwin came o-"
"Erwin!" I hissed, interrupting him. I felt him flinch in my arms and I gripped him tighter. "Don't you dare apologise!" I snapped hearing him start to say sorry again. "He did this didn't he!?" I tilted his head up and kissed him gently. "I'm sorry...I left you here...I had no idea he would go this far!" I felt my voice shake and I felt his arousal hit off my leg. I stared at him in shock and he flinched, pulling away from me once he realised I had noticed it.
"No...no Levi...I didn't mean it..." He held up his arms in defence. I watched him, still shocked as he ran to the bathroom and locked himself inside. I woke up from my daze and ran after him.
"Eren..." I said softly, pressing my head to the door.
"I'm so sorry..."
"Eren it's okay... I know you didn't mean it..."
"I don't deserve you Levi...even my parents don't want me..." He whimpered.
"No. You deserve better than me. You're parents are vile homophobes and they don't deserve you!" I closed my eyes and felt my throat going dry. "Open the door..." I whispered.

Silence

"Eren please..."

More silence.

"Okay..." He mumbled and opened it slowly. I hugged him tightly and kissed him deeply.
"Eren...I'm not going to leave you over that. I don't want to leave you...I..." I buried my face in his neck, unable to say the words.  "I promise..." I whispered. "Promise you won't leave me?..." I asked slowly, taking in his refreshing smell that reminded me of chocolate and roses.
He took a deep breath and kissed my shoulder gently. "I promise."
I smiled warmly and nuzzled him. I lead him into the bathroom and closed the door behind us. "Let's get you cleaned up hmm?" I took care of him in the shower, then washed and cleaned him, most of the time while kissing him. I wanted to stay with Eren for more than forever. He made me better and a person and I loved him with all my heart.
