Eren woke in the morning to the busy noises of the street before him. He grunted a little and sat up, Levi had taken the tie with him so his arm had bled through the night. He sighed and wiped some of the blood. He pulled his phone to check the time and he felt his stomach drop when he saw the screen. It was smashed and cracked well beyond repair. There were dents in the back and side of the phone. He unlocked it and to his amazement it still responded felt the relief of a small victory. It was was 7:30 am, the one time he wasn't going to work he actually woke up in time...typical. He brought up his messages. He was about to message Levi but decided against it and texted Hanji instead.
Eren: Somthng came up and I cant make it in today.
Hanji: Np lemme know if anythng chnges :)
He pocketed his phone and shuddered as a chill ran through him. He groaned and sat up, cracking his spine at the same time. He was about to relax, but his phone started vibrating. It wasn't a call, but the vibrating wouldn't stop. He huffed and pulled it out again. It was Levi repeatedly messaging him.
Levi: What do you mean you aren't coming in today?
Levi: Get your lazy ass out of bed and into work
Levi: And tell Armin not to get it on with you the night before work
Levi: Hello?
Levi: I know you're reading these
Levi: Eren...
He shook his head and thought about what to do.
Eren: Ok I'll try but I wont be on time
Levi: Fine.
He got up and walked back to his house. He staggered every now and then and started to smell the wine that Levi had spoken about recently. He grimaced and walked to his door. As he suspected it was unlocked and his dad was sleeping on his couch. He felt dread seep into his bones and quickly manoeuvred around the house, grabbing the bare minimum of what he needed. He managed to change his clothes and brush his teeth, but a shower was too risky so he would just have to settle for drowning in deodorant and cologne. He was about to leave when he realised he had promised to make Levi lunch. He glanced at his dad then scooted to the kitchen. He couldn't make him steak so instead he quickly cooked a tuna melt (its tuna and cheese on a sandwich, cooked :3) and placed in a container for him. He flinched at the snap of the lid then cursed quietly.
"I wouldn't expect my son to use that language," A gruff voice said and Eren looked up from the tub. "Why are you here?" He asked and sat up.
"I live here..." He stammered and shuffled to the door.
"I pay the rent for you, and I want you out. Don't come back. I don't need a gay son," He hissed and Eren's eyes widened,
"what? What do you mean?" Sure he never had a girlfriend...or any kind of relationship but that didn't mean anything.
"Oh, Shut up! I've seen how close you are with Armin!" He hissed and Eren clenched his fists.
"Why does everyone think I'm with Armin?! He is like a brother to me!" He yelled and flinched when he felt his dad's hand grip his already bleeding arm.
"Get out." He snapped and pushed Eren out the door. He tumbled to the ground and hissed when his head hit the ground. "You need to get a girlfriend Eren. Don't come back until you're normal." He yelled and closed the door.
Eren felt tears prick his eye and he flattened himself on the ground. "I didn't do anything wrong..." His voice was weak and cracked a little. "but I'm sorry dad." He whimpered and sagged against the ground.
"Don't apologise to him, dumbass," He heard a familiar voice and he looked up to see Levi.
"Levi! I- Uh...Hi there," He stammered and mentally face palmed. Levi crouched beside Eren and looked into his eyes.
"Get up, you're coming home with me,"
(A/N sorry this is a little short but i hope you enjoyed it <3)
