“I came to make your life a lot less boring. You can thank me whenever,” the blonde boy from earlier in the day said as he strolled through the threshold. A joking laugh sounded through out the room from him.
“Nolan, you asshole!” Bo laughed, looking to the entrance of the room we were in. Nolan came into view, a smile plastered on his cheeks. His eyes slowly wandered in my direction, until he was looking me over with a curious, almost appreciative look.
“I have one, but that doesn’t make me one,” Nolan retorted with a quirky grin. I turned to Bo.
“You’re right, Bo. He is smart… assed!” I joked, looking Nolan’s direction.
“Psh. For you, I’d be anything,” he winked, causing my cheeks to flame up a bit. I didn’t have a retort to that, either.
“If you could stop flirting with my new friend,” Bo said slowly, looking at Nolan pointedly, “that would be awesome. So, Emma, what movie are we watching?”
“I don’t care. Pick one out, since you’re standing up,” I ordered, pointing to Nolan.
“Oh, I see how it is. Team up and pick on the white boy, okay,” he mumbled jokingly, grabbing a movie to put into the player. He then turned to us. “I hope you don’t mind horror.”
“C’mon, Nole! You know when I get too scared I tend to pee my pants!” Bo cried, wide eyed, before he burst into laughter. The comment caused me to hesitantly move to the opposite end of the couch, though. When everything was up and running, Nolan walked over to me.
“I’m not sitting by the pee-er. Scooch.”
“Talk about accepting your friends as they are,” I smiled, moving back next to Bo, while Nolan sat to my left. ‘The Descent’ played across the screen. It seemed more creepy than scary. When gory parts came on, I’d have to cover my eyes with my hands and peak from the small spaces until the part was over to avoid feeling nauseous. Other than that, I had been fine, aside from jumping from time to time when scary parts would pop up randomly.
“So, you don’t like blood, huh?” Nolan piped once the movie was over.
“Not at all,” I said, looking out the window to see it was pitch black outside.
“It’s getting dark,” one of the boys said after a moment.
“Yep. I should probably get going…” I mumbled as I stood up. The boys did the same, walking with me to the door.
“Are you driving me home, or should I call my mom?” I asked, turning to Bo.
“I can drive you,” Nolan offered just as Bo opened his mouth to speak.
“Okay. You can go with Nolan, or I can take you.” I looked unsurely to Nolan. Could I trust him? I didn’t really know him- thought he was really good friends with Bo, who obviously trusted him. So shouldn’t I? And he had to drive home, too.
“I’ll go with Nolan, since he has to leave anyways.”
“Cool. Where do you live?”
I looked to Bo, hoping he could help me. “Could you explain for me?” With a nod, he gave Nolan the directions to my house, and then ushered us out the door. “Bye bye! Thanks for inviting me, it was fun!” I yelled over my shoulder with a smile, following Nolan to his Jeep. The drive to my house was quiet, and not the good kind; the atmosphere was incredibly awkward. I thanked God that my house wasn’t too far away from Bo’s, or the trip would be terrible. As we pulled into my small driveway, I unbuckled my seatbelt, and began to open the door, when I felt a hand grab my wrist. I turned to face Nolan curiously.
“Wait.” he said quickly, suddenly looking a bit nervous. “I was wondering, if this weekend you would want to do something? I could show you around town or somethin’.”
I thought about it for a minute, figuring I had nothing to do for the weekend. “Sounds like a plan.” I grinned, earning a bright smile from him.
“Cool. I’ll talk to you at school then, and we can figure it out.”
“Alrighty. See ya tomorrow, Nolan. Thanks for the ride.” I looked him over once before jumping out of the vehicle, walking to the front door. Once inside, I locked the door, and looked in between the curtains of the window. Biting my lip, I watched as he drove off.
I couldn’t help but be excited for this weekend.

The middle-ish of this chapter just doesn't seem to flow smoothly to me, so if it doesn't to you, if you could tell me below in the comments, that'd be awesome(just say what isn't very smooth to you).
Sooo have a nice day, or night (it's 11pm here- time for bed. Waking up at 6am). ^^
Edit:
I've decided I want to start a second story, so if you guys could check out some of my ideas I have posted on the second chapter in 'If You Want Me To Read Your Stories (+ Extra Stuff)' or at http://www.wattpad.com/2063569-pick-my-next-story and tell me which one(s) you would be most interested in reading, that'd be awesome. ^^
