"Your seats will be right over there, to the left", the woman said with a wide smile as me and Troye boarded the plane.

"Thank you", Troye smiled back at her but I was already on my way past the rows of halfway filled seats. I checked my flight ticket before stating that I was by the right seats and put my hand luggage on the shelves over the chairs on the plane. I sank down in my window seat by the time Troye had caught up with me and lifted up his bag to the shelf as well.

"Someone's a little grumpy", he said as he sat down next to me. I shot him a glare and got a grin back in return.

"I slept for less than two hours tonight! And you made us late for our flight! Which led to me not have gotten any coffee all day!", I complained to him.

"Who would know that Connor Franta would be this whining little baby every time he goes on an airplane?", he said still grinning at me, I didn't get what was funny with this.

"Shut up you dick"

The plane had now been almost completely filled and the little glowing sign told us to put on our safety belts, and so we did.

"Honey, you know I'm only kidding?", Troye said when I wouldn't look away from the window. I turned to face him instead of the the view out the window of asphalt on the airstrip.

"Mm yeah", I mumbled.

"C'mere baby", he said and held out his arms to make me hug him, and I awkwardly put my arms around his torso. I shouldn't say I didn't like hugging my boyfriend but the fact that we were both stuck under the safety belts made it hard to hug him comfortably.

Not much later were we over the clouds, literally, and could take our safety belts off.

The minute the glowing sign went off I patted my lap and shot a smirk against Troye. Now he was sat in my lap with my arms wrapped around his body. His shoes were on the floor and his feet were on his seat.

The thing was that, we weren't even talking. A book was placed in his hands and even though I couldn't see them I knew his eyes were wandering through the words on the pages.

People around the plane were speaking and children were crying but it didn't matter to us, me and Troye had our own bubble, our on little space where no one could disturb.

No words were said but there was no need to speak.

Right here, with him close, was where I felt the most at ease.
