Riley's POV:

I was awoken from my slumber once again but this time by the force of rain as it smashed off of my window. I sighed. Rainy days always make my mood bad. I dont know what it is I just always feel like when the skys down, im down.

I sighed tiredly as i made my way to the kitchen forgetting all about the sleeping boy on my couch. It wasnt until I heard his soft snores when i remembered last nights events. I will have to ask him about that.

I placed the microwavable sausages, pancakes and all that shit into the microwave because im lazy and dont know how to cook. He doesnt have to know. When the microwave dinged i placed all the food into two separate plates. In the next minute, in came a shirtless Jai who immediately got my attention because of his toned back and stomach. I had to force myself not to stare.

"You didnt have to do this" He started.

"I dont mind" I replied.

We both sat across from eachother as silence came over the two of us. We shared awkward eye contact knowing what the subject will soon be about.

"microwave food" he chuckled. Shit. How did he know?

I nervously laughed. "How did you know?"

"one, it really bad quality and two, I noticed the boxes as soon as I came in the room" He said, chuckling in the process. I laughed.

"but on the plus side, although it tastes bad, its the best microwave food ive ever had" he said with sarcasm laced in his voice. Smart Ass.

"Hey think yourself lucky i made you breakfast, I could have made you starve" I teased.

"Im joking babe" He laughed with a smirk.

Butterflies flew around my stomach with that nickname he called me. Call me pathetic but it was hot.

I put my plate away in the sink as jai copied my actions. Us both making our way to the living room. I suddenly became on edge as i knew I would have to ask him what happened last night. He obviously could sense my nervousness as he suddenly said "I know what your gunna say...... Look all you need to know is that I got into a little trouble and it just got a little heated thats all".

I raised my eyebrows. "You said that guys came after you, your storys changed just a bit" I challenged.

My statement seemed to frustrate him as his eyes turned a slight darker colour and his lips turned into a frown. "Look its none of your business what happened okay? Just keep your god damn nose out of my shit "

I gasped. "I Have the decency to let you into my apartment, clean up your injuries, let you sleep on my couch and give you breakfast and you wont give me one fucking explanation?" I screamed.

"No because its none of your fucking business" He growled.

"Well the shit that happened at the party when that guy almost took advantage of me was none of your business yet you still managed to find out aabout that didnt you?" I growled back.

"I helped you. You could have been Kil-" I cut him off.

"You were almost killed too jai. I dont know what happened out there which makes iit worse" I screamed. He sighed and stayed silent.

"So dont go round acting like I dont need an explantion whe-" I was stopped when he grabbed my face with his large hands and pressed his plump lips against mine. Our lips moulded together as our lips moved in sync. I know what your thinking. What the fuck just happened? I am thinking the exact same thing but the bizarre thing is.... is that I let him kiss me and I kissed him back.
