I was walking back to my room when I saw Abby practicing with Tony. I stopped just to watch her. She was so beautiful, so graceful. Every move she made was mesmerizing. She spotted me and I pointed to next door. She nodded once and went back to focusing without missing a step. I smiled. I watched her for a few more minutes before going into an almost empty theater room. I saw Brittany and some guy making out in the first row, Kevin and Ashley were towards the middle, talking-not even paying attention. So I sat in the last row, waiting for Abby. I looked at my watch-8:00. I sighed. I had a long wait.

The movie that was playing was a silent black and white film. I leaned back in the seat and closed my eyes. I quickly fell asleep and I was woken up by someone kissing me. I knew from the tingling sensation it was Abby. I kept my eyes closed.

"Baby, please wake up." She whispered in my ear sending chills down my spine. I still didn't move. She kissed me again. I quickly pulled her onto my lap and kissed her back. She laughed.

"What time is it?" I asked, yawning.

"1:30." She said and I shook my head.

"Aren't you exhausted?" I asked. She nodded. "Alright, let's get you back to your room." I said as we stood up. She jumped on my back.

"Not to your room?" She asked sweetly.

"You need to sleep. I woke you up earlier and disturbed your sleep then; I don't want to do it now." I said.

"I sleep better when you're around." She said quietly.

"Really?" I asked, looking over my shoulder at her.

"Always have." She said, kissing my neck lightly.

"To my room it is." I said and she laughed.

"Thank you." We reached my room and I gently placed her on my bed. She waited until I was next to her before snuggling close to me and falling asleep.

The next four days passed with out a lot of action or drama, besides Brittany trying to convince me to come back to her, things were pretty normal. Abby and I being together just felt right-like it was the way it should have been the whole time.

Unfortunately we had to go back to another hotel before our flight left the next day. When the boat docked we took all of our baggage off the boat and called two taxis. Abby, Joe, Emma, Kevin, Ashley and I rode in one with our luggage and Jessi, Brittany, Vicki and Connie rode in the other with their luggage. We reached the hotel, paid the cabbies and went inside to book our rooms for the night.

We each went to three separate rooms. Abby, Emma and Ashley shared one, Joe, Kevin and I shared one and Brittany, Vicki, Connie, and Jessi shared one.

We walked around Miami for a while again, and by the time we got back I was exhausted. I said goodnight to Abby and collapsed on my bed, instantly falling asleep.

I knocked on Abby's door the next morning. I had her favorite flowers-red daisies, behind my back. The door opened by itself. I cautiously pushed the door open, walking inside and saw Abby lying peacefully on her bed. I sat next to her, smiling, but she didn't move.

"Abby." I sang sweetly. She still didn't move. I touched her arm, it was freezing and she still didn't move. I picked her up in my arms to warm her up and the room faded away. I gently shook her, but she still didn't move.

"Baby, wake up." I said loudly. I shook her again. Tears began to roll down my cheeks. "Gabriella, please wake up! I need you!" I shouted. Nothing I did could make her move. Then the worst thought in the world came into my head. I slowly reached my hand up to feel for a pulse. When I didn't find one I felt my heart break. A giant gust of wind came out of nowhere, Abby's body turning to ash and following in it.

I collapsed in tears, sobbing hysterically.

"Nick! Ni-someone get Abby!" I heard someone yell. I didn't want to open my eyes-I didn't want to have to live without her. Someone sat next to me, taking my hand. Their touch sent tingles up my arm.

"Nicky, baby-open your eyes." I heard Abby say. I pulled her close to me, squeezing her tightly. "Baby, what happened?" She asked, hugging me back. I just buried my face in her neck. I didn't want to talk about it. "It's ok-I'm here. I'm not going anywhere." She whispered in my ear. I didn't want to let go.

"Abby-" I started, but started coughing.

"Joe-can you get him a bottle of water?" She asked. I heard him walk out the door. She ran her fingers through my hair. "Baby, you have to calm down. Please, just breathe." She whispered. I tried to take a breath. Joe came back with the water. I sat up, I was shaking like crazy. Abby helped me take a sip.

"Is that better?" She asked and I nodded a little, still squeezing her hand. "Guys-can you give us a minute?" She asked of my brothers. The room was still blurry. I heard them leave and I felt her turn back to me. "Ok-I'm not going anywhere, Nicky-I promise you that." She said firmly. I nodded, rubbing my eyes. She grabbed a tissue off the table next to my bed and gently wiped the tears off my cheeks. "Wanna tell me what happened?" She asked softly. I shook my head. "You'll have to sooner or later." She said and I sighed.

"Can I wait until I can see clearer?" I asked timidly and she chuckled.

"Of course. Wanna lie down?" She suggested and my grip instantly tightened. "We don't have to sleep." She said reassuringly. We lied down and I blinked a few times, the room becoming slightly clearer. I could make out Abby's beautiful face and I touched it softly-terrified she'd crumble away. My eyes welled up again and she kissed me.

"Please no more crying." She whispered. "Everything's ok-it was just a bad, awful dream. But that's all it was-a dream. It's over." She whispered.

"You died." I said quietly. "Turned to ash in my arms." I looked away from her face. She was silent for a second and I knew I had scared her.

"I-Nicky-"

"I love you, Abby. I love you so much. I can't live without you." I choked. Her mouth opened slightly and I knew I'd done something wrong, but telling her I loved her made me feel better-now she knew.

"I love you, too." She whispered, placing her hands lightly on my cheeks. "I always will. And I won't turn to dust and I'm not leaving you anytime soon." She said, looking me directly in the eyes. "You're my best friend. I need you." She said and I smiled. She kissed me. She had no idea just how much I needed her.

"Stay with me tonight?" I asked. I didn't want to be away from her.

"Of course, baby. Just let me go tell your brothers they can come back." She said and I smiled.

"Otay." She got up and walked to the door. My arms already ached to hold her again. She called them and came back to the bed. She moved close to me and I held her tightly. I didn't dare fall asleep. I didn't trust myself to. At some point during the night she moved closer to me, wrapping her arms tighter. I watched her sleep, looking so angelic. I was so glad that I had her in my life. I wished the sun would rise. I was tired of sitting in the dark. I didn't want to sleep. I didn't want to face my nightmares. I prayed that I would never have another dream like that again.

Finally the sun rose and I slipped away to go sit outside. I breathed in the fresh air as I sat on the steps.
