*Chapter Fourteen*

                I’m not one to hate people-but I was so close at this minute. I couldn’t believe she did that. Now she was dragging me around to the venders. She wanted me to buy her stuff. I told her I didn’t bring my wallet.

                I saw Abby with Kevin. She was reaching for his pocket. I felt a stab of jealousy. That could’ve been me if I didn’t have a selfish, jealous girlfriend.

                Kevin spun her around and wrapped both her arms around her and he swayed them side to side, like slow dancing and he whispered something in her ear. My blood boiled. How could he do this to me?! I felt my heart break as Brittany led me to another booth

                “Nicky-you’re being awfully quiet.”  Brittany whined. I ignored her. We walked around some more, the image of Abby and Kevin burned into my brain.

                “Nicky-buy me this.” She whined. I ignored her. I’ve told her too many times that she has to call me Nick. If I hear her whine my name one more time-I’m going to flip.

             “Nicky-I’m bored.” She whined. I snapped.

            “I. Really. Couldn’t. Care. Less. It’s Nick. Or don’t call me anything at all. Couldn’t care either way. But right now-don’t even waste your breath on trying to talk to me. Just leave me alone.” I yelled. I stormed away, past the two love birds and towards the ship. People were giving my dirty looks but I didn’t care. I stormed up the ramp and into the main hall. I stormed to our level, my eyes burning with tears. My brother, and my best friend-I’ve never felt worse in my life. I crashed into Ashley and Emma.

                “You ok, Nick?” Emma asked. I shook my head.

                “Sorry.” I mumbled before walking away. I rounded the corner and saw Jessi with a guy who came at about mid waist. That must be the guy Emma was talking about. I sighed and opened my door. I dropped onto my bed, wanting to disappear.

                First Brittany tricked me. I didn’t know I wasn’t with Abby. Then when I tried to tell Abby that, she ignored me and walked away. Now she’s dating my brother! What the heck?

            The door opened and Joe walked in.

            “Have you seen Jessi?” He asked. I shook my head. “What’s wrong?” He asked.

            “Everything.” I muttered, my voice cracking. I wiped tears out of my eyes.

            “What do you mean? Is everyone ok?” He asked worriedly.

            “Everyone but me. Brittan screwed up everything today and Abby won’t talk to me and she’s with Kevin…” I trailed off, feeling really dizzy.

            “They’ve hung out before.” He said confused. “Why is it bothering you now?”

            “No-together, like, dating.” I choked and he stared at me.

            "Are you kidding me?" He asked roughly.

            "That's what it looked like." I mumbled, my head spinning.

            "Alright-just calm down." He said, coming over and feeling my forehead. "Why don't you just lie down for a while and relax?" He suggested. At this point I didn't feel like I had a choice. The room was spinning and I just dropped onto my back and closed my eyes. I felt the room spinning and I felt like I was in the house from the Wizard of Oz.

            "I'll be right back." Was the last thing I heard.
