            Nick had left me and I just walked around when my phone vibrated in my pocket. I read the text message from Isabelle.

Can I ask you something?

            I smiled.

Sure. Shoot.

::Guitar Hero::

 

            I saw Abby rush by me followed by Ashy. I started to follow but Ash held up her hand to stop me. My phone went off in my hand.

I heard through the grape vine that you like me.

            My heart stopped.

……………Yeah

            Who told? I had so many thoughts racing through my head. Maybe it's better that she knows.

I have something to tell you-

            I bit my lip.

            I had a feeling I knew what was coming. I was walking under the covered walk way on the outside decks.

I like you-but I don't :(

            I stopped walking. I knew that was coming. I dropped my phone in the trash can in front of me and headed towards the back of the boat. I sat on the floor of the bottom deck where I was alone. I leaned against the cold wall, tucked up my knees and let my head hit the wall behind me. I closed my eyes, thinking. I heard someone sit next to me and gently place something in my hand. I opened my eyes to see my phone. I looked to my left and saw Ashley. She smiled.

            "I heard your phone going off in a trash can when I was coming to find you." She explained. I smiled half heartedly.

            "Thanks." I mumbled.

            "What's wrong?" She asked. I took a deep breath and even in my head the words sounded stupid.

            "Isabelle doesn't like me-" And even as I said it, I realized I wasn't as hurt by it as I thought I was.

            "She's crazy." Ash said matter-of-factly. I looked at her. "Trust me-she's missing out." I smiled.

            "Thanks." She kissed my cheek lightly and stood up to leave. I pulled her back down into my lap. She laughed. I realized then that I've had feelings for this girl for so long. "You're not getting away from me that easily." I said. She sighed dramatically, joking around.

            "Fine." She laughed. Our eyes met and I felt completely and totally comfortable with her. I felt entirely at peace. I moved my face closer to her and our lips met. She put her hand gently on my face and I pulled her closer to me. We broke apart and I smiled.

            "Be my girlfriend?" I whispered and she nodded, grinning. We kissed again and she stood up. "Where are we going?" I asked, standing up as well.

            "To find your brother to fix his problem." She said and I chuckled.

            "We can't throw Brittany overboard-we'd get in trouble." I said and she hit my arm.

            "Kevin Jonas-that's awful." She said, but smiled evilly. "But a really good idea." She said and I laughed.

            "You're so cute." I said and she shook her head.

            "Nah."

            "Yeah-don't argue-you won't win." I said and she laughed. She took my hand and we headed back to my room.

            We saw Abby talking to Tony. She was leaning against the wall and he was propped up on his arm next to her. We waved and she smiled sadly before turning back to Tony.

            "What happened earlier?" I asked.

            "Nick and Abby got in a fight and Nick told her to mind her own business. I think she took it to mean to stay out of his life." I sighed.

            "I'll talk to him." I said. I didn't know what else to say to make him realize that Brittany was the problem. I guess I just have to find another way. We walked into our hallway and Nick was heading towards us.

            "Can we talk?" I asked him.

            "I have a lunch date-I'll find you after." He said. I nodded and we continued to our room.

            "What was Nick telling Abby to stay out of?" I asked as we sat on my bed.

            "His relationship with Brittany."
