- Samantha POV -
I looked at the flier. It seems like a great way to meet more people. I pulled it off the pole and walked to Kayla with it.
"We should go, it sounds like so much fun." I said looking at it.
She took the flier from me and scanned over it, "No." She said and handed the paper to me a little roughly. She continued walking as I stood there.
I jogged up to her and looked at her. "Why what's wrong with it?"
"Did you not listen to anything I said about the douchey fraternity?!" She yelled and groaned, "Do you ever listen?!"
Ouch.
"Oh .. yeah.. I'm sorry.." My words came out a bit stuttered and I flinched at her bitter tone.
I never did good with yelling. It reminded me of a bad past I had as a child. I never really brought it up to anyone.. maybe just the people I truly trust.
She looked at me and sighed, "I'm.. im sorry.. just I hate that frat house."
I nodded, "It's okay."
"You can go." She said, "To the party. I mean, but I'm not going." She continued to walk back to out dorms and I sighed.
Should I go?
I wouldn't know anyone. Plus doesn't meeting Kayla's friends sound better than some loud overcrowded teenage party?
But then again..
I folded the flier and tucked it into my jacket pocket. I walked back to the dorm room.
Maybe I was making a big mistake but I knew it would be worth it.
