Kylo Ren P.O.V.
"Master, she is the gray Jedi we had been searching for!" I began as I flew into the chamber. "She was easy to take, with convincing... she submitted. You can sense it. I know you can feel her power. Her control over her power and her emotions – "
"You have done well." Snoke interrupted in a hearty chuckle. His projected being loomed over me, casting a heavy shadow.
"Keep a watchful eye on her as we continue extinguishing any resistance and those who hide like fearful cowards. Her thoughts are hidden from me..." He paused, looking away, in thought. "You will study her - watch her. Keep open an eye as we continue with our reign."Snoke's twisted voice urged me before he evaporated letting the lingering rays of light from outside show through the skylights.
Watch her? I thought, turning back to leave for the girl's cell. She was a variable in our plans, but if we could not see her true intent, she could be extremely dangerous. I couldn't help but suppress a grin. It was exciting and the curiosity she brought about her was simmering.
I left the chamber and stalked the hallways. I nodded in acknowledgement to Captain Phasma with her guards. My black figure reflected in the mirror of her chrome armor as I passed. I turned down a corridor to the room she was left in. I forced the door open with the lightest flick of my wrist.
The room was empty!
"Where is she..." I calmly turned my head to the guard stationed at the door. With power of the force in my hand, I lifted the guard off his feet, my grasp around his throat.
He gurgled, "She never left!"
I released my grip. The trooper dropped to the floor like a wet rag and panting for air.
Gritting my teeth from beneath the helmet, I waved my cloak away from my saber, to be pulled into a empty grasp from my side. The low melodic hum of my blade filled the hollow room. The door closed leaving darkness. "Are you here, girl." I called out.
"Here." She whispered from behind. I spun around to the dark empty space between the door and i. "WHERE ARE YOU!" I slashed at the door's frame. The room was larger than I had wished it to be, since there was more than once place to hide. I took a few steps forward until I heard a crash.
A yellow light from her blade came from my side. I held my lightsaber up in defense. With a quick mover, she sheathed her blade and flipped, jumping over me to dodge my attack, hooking her arm to catch my neck. I threw her her me to break the grip, and forced her against the wall. Knocking air from her lungs, She collapsed in a heap on the floor.
"You will pay for your insolence! Do that again, and I will kill you!" I barked, rubbing my neck where she caught me. I bent down, grabbed the girl and forced her up against the wall; my blade to her throat. A wince flickered across her gaze. Desperate for air, she tore off the mask from her face. She pulled down the head sleeve to reveal mahogany locks and olive skin. She was completely human to my surprise. "I suppose," She struggled, clutching her gut, "you are not going to let me out of your sight this time."
"foolish girl. We have yet to determine what your intent is."
"I have real intent! I'm tired of hiding!" She shook.
I tightened my grip to silence her speaking. Another weak gasp escaped her lips. I could sense it from her that I was stronger that she had expected. Good.
"My master had told me time, and time again that hiding was a way to preserve the force. But..." She looked away and shut her eyes. Furrowing her brow, she had a bitterness and resentment flowing in her voice. "My master was wrong by telling me it would preserve the balance of the force. I have meditated for a long time. I have searched the force for guidance. Time and time again I have been given a set of paths to follow..."
She paused, shifting her eyes between my lightsaber -- bursting and crackling with energy -- and my cold hard stare.
"Do I stay my neutral ground and hide, only to be hunted like a dog and die? Or do I fight for the crippling Jedi order? No matter the choice i will die because they are not strong enough to overtake dark side that has grown in their quest for power. I made a different choice. Here I am."
I thought on her words for quite some time, keeping my pose rigid. The darkness within me grew as I lingered on her words. Of course we were powerful! We take what we want and continue to grow stronger.
"As you should believe! Only fools are blind to what we are. What we are capable of. We are superior. And until all opposing forces are eradicated, we will not end." I caught the quick flicker of pain; the wince in her eyes when I spoke the word eradicated.
"Don't be a fool! There shall never be an end! You will never find satisfaction." She looked down, then lifted her eyes and locked them with mine, weighing my actions and my life with her soul piercing gaze. Without a word I released her from my grasp. In large strides, I went to the door and threw it open, staggering the trooper behind it in surprise.
Before I took a step further I paused. "I'm finished with you," and left the containment unit.
To my surprise, General Hux was standing in the corridor at attention with his beading eyes following me. "Snoke has spoken with me. He wants the girl tortured for information on remain Jedi and on resistance sympathizers."
I didn't stop to give him my attention and kept walking passed him as he spoke, waving an arm in reply. "Snoke wants the Jedi alive."
General Hux then ordered his men to enter the room. With them, were devices best used for torture. A moment later, once the sound of the door slid closed, a scream that pierced through the halls erupted.
"Snoke is most pleased indeed."
