Chapter 15 Tyler's Night

Tyler's POV:

If I want this to work because I don't know if I'll come back from this I had asked my boss for vacation this week. I quickly called them and Mr. Fong had answered. I quickly asked him for the job opening and he was being a little bit skeptical about it. I then heard a voice saying to give me a chance.

So standing outside the restaurant at 11 pm at a cold winter night was all coming together in a plan. I took a deep breathe as I entered the restaurant. I looked at the stage to see that the four main animatronics were already there powered off. I walked over to them and stared at the Mini one.

I touched his powered down face and felt tears come to my eyes. Don't worry Craig I will put you killer to rest if it's the last thing that I would do. I heard a grunt from behind me and I turned and say Mr. Fong.

"Ahh yes Tyler from two weeks ago right," he said and I nod.

"Did you ever find Craig," he asked and I shook my head.

"No but I know he'll show up one day," I said and he smiles.

"That's good to hear let me show you to your office," he said and we walked around back.

We stepped into the office and I looked at the chair thinking that Craig had sat in this seat before. I sat down in the chair and started to poke around the system they had when he placed a book on my lap.

"I'd like my workers to know about the animatronics. It's always best to know the people you are working with," he said as I opened the book.

"Start learning about them as you start in half an hour," he said and I nod.

I took a picture of the book and what it said on the inside. It had what each animatronic did at night and what was the way to keep them off. This book should be the first clue to people that they got a horrible job. I checked Night 1 which was information about Vanoss.

I opened my phone to the article about Evan Fong. How his dad based Vanoss off of him. I really don't believe it I mean it would explain the disappearance of people who worked for him and some of those got an animatronic for it. I closed my phone as I saw that it was 5 to 12.

I checked the book and saw that I just had to keep the camera on him and that he would like to lose me in the cameras as well. It says that once he's at the door he will say your name and that's the only chance that I would get to close the door on him.

My phone then beeped signaling the start of my shift. I quickly open the camera and I saw that he was still on the stage. I can tell that I have limited power as it went from 100 to 99 when I opened the screen. I have to be very conservative with the power I use.

I realized that he wouldn't be moving anytime soon, so I turned the camera off. I looked around my small office I see a poster of Vanoss and Friends and he was holding a pancake? I pressed the pancake and I broke down laughing. It made a sound and I had to do it again.

"Puncake!"

Omg whoever thought of this was a brilliant man. I heard a beep signaling that it was 1 am. I put up the cameras and I see that Vanoss hadn't moved from his spot. I feel like he's playing a mind game with me. I see him move his head and face the camera. He smiles and I knew that he was playing with me.

If that's how he wants to play, then I'll play along. I deliberately changed the camera to a different room and I heard foot steps walking. I clicked back to the stage to see that he had moved. I tried to hear where he headed and clicked the party area to see him standing there smiling at me.

I looked at my battery to see that it was at 90 percent. I looked at the clock to see that it was 1:45 seems a pretty good waste of power in that amount of time. I would have plenty enough power that would last me the night. I closed down the camera so I could let his game continue.

I feel like he knows I've accepted his game as I started to hear footsteps coming towards my office. I opened the camera up again and found him at the Salad bar. That's pretty close to were I am at. I could tell in his eyes that it has a form of revenge.

A revenge for what? For what his dad might have done to him. I have no idea and I'm kind of afraid to find out. I heard the beep again and I see that it's 3 am and my power had went down to 75 percent. Time goes by so fast when I'm fighting for my life.

I decided to turn of the camera to make him come to my door. His call is really easy to figure out I just have to hear him really well. I waited as I hear quiet footsteps come to my door. My breathing started to come out really heavy as its suddenly quiet with just the sounds of the fan blowing.

And then I heard quiet as ever but loud and clear at the same time.

"Tyler~."

I quickly shut the door which made him chuckle outside.

"Tyler it's only a matter of time before you join us.... And he is going to be your down fall," he said making my back shiver.

I heard footsteps walk away and I checked outside and saw that he left. I check the power and it said I had 50% it was 4 am and I decided to keep it up the rest of the night. What did Vanoss mean that he is going to be my down fall.

Craig? I have no clue but I'll make sure I'll never join them. I have faith in myself that I could do this. I haven't heard him come at me since and I was relieved to see the clock turn 6 am. I opened the doors and nearly shit myself when I saw Mr. Fong there.

"I clearly forgot to tell you that the animatronics like to test new employees. It's part of they're programming," he said and I looked at him crazily.

"Are you really expecting me to believe that shit," I said and he just shrugs.

"I mean you can't quit until the end of the week because of our policy and its wise not to tell anyone what goes on here because we do have ears you know," he said smiling evilly and walks out.

I walk out of the restaurant and looked at Vanoss one last time. If a fight he wants a fight he will get. I smirk at him and I leave the restaurant having a tingling feeling in my chest at the challenge I accepted.
