Chapter 12

Cassidy's POV

Christmas break is over. Wow. This will be my actual first day of school because when I first moved here about 3 or 4 weeks ago I didn't go to school cause my parents wanted my to 'adjust'. I can't wait to meet people but it's school. Ugh.

I decided to straighten my hair today then I put on my concealer, loose powder and mascara. I then put on some eyeshadow from my naked 3 palette.  I walked over to my closet. I picked out a dark blue tie dyed t shirt and leggings. I also put on a white cardigan.

I headed downstairs for breakfast. I just grabbed some cereal and then headed out the door. I started to walk down to the bus stop when I heard someone call my name.

"Cassidy!" I heard the voice say. I turned around to see Hunter running towards me, struggling to keep his back pack on his right shoulder. "Hey!" He said.

"Hey." I replied. We walked down and talked about people in the school like who to stay away from and who is nice. By the time we got to the bus stop I'm pretty sure I had it all down. We where really early so I went on my phone. Soon enough Bree came walking down.

"Why didn't you wait for me?" She said impatiently.

"Oops?" I said and she rolled her eyes at me. Hunter and I started talking again and then I saw someone else walking down. As they got closer I knew who it was. Weston. I hadn't seen him in weeks. When he got closer I smiled but he didn't return it. He just looked at his feet with a blank face.

Weston's POV

When I got to the bus stop Cassidy and Hunter where talking. Cassidy smiled at me but I didn't know what to do so I just looked at my feet. How can she not hate me. Everyone else does.

The bus pulled around the corner. I wondered where Mario was. Then I remembered his visit to me. I shook the thought out of my head. I looked over to Cassidy and Hunter.

"Cassidy?" Hunter asked.

"Yeah?" She replied with a cute smile.

"We should hang out more." He said with a wink.

"Yeah we should!" She said, and with that they both got on the bus.
