Chapter 20

10 years later.

Cassidy sat down on in the tiny seat in front of her old school. She was back to tell her story.

"Hi I'm Cassidy Smith." She spoke. "I'm here to share a one of a kind experience with you." She looked though the crowd. "I just wish some people involved in this experience where here today." She could feel that everyone knew who she was talking about.

"My friends, Mario Selman, Bree Smith, Hunter Rowland and Weston Koury made my life amazing. But yet there where some bumps that just grew and grew and then just broke."

She sniffled. "My friendship with Weston was torn apart and he must not have been able to take it anymore so he ran away. He was gone for a month and then Bree, Mario, and Hunter found him. He was taken to a hospital where they found out he was having a living night mare and couldn't see the world how we did at the time." She took a deep breath.

"After that the doctors took care of him and tried to figure out how to cure him. They-" She paused. "They couldn't. One day I came in his hospital room and started singing to him. He looked at me and I expected him to be scared but instead he said 'You have a lovely voice Cassidy' I didn't know what happened but he was normal." She wiped a tear away.

"He was out of the trance that being gone for a month had put him in. He still wasn't fully recovered so they put him in rehab to help him more." I smiled.

"I would like to introduce you to my boyfriend. Weston Koury." Weston walked out on stage and sat down in the chair next to her. Cassidy gave him a hug. "I love you." She whispered. "I love you too." He said back.

Weston stood up. He looked at me and kneeled down.

"I would like to ask you something." He took out a box from his pocket. "Cassidy Smith. Will you marry me?" He opened the box revealing a ring.

"YES!" She said loudly. Cassidy stood up and kissed Weston.

'What a good life' Cassidy thought to herself. 'What a good life.'
