Gideon took her hand gratefully, and escorted her out of the library towards the main gate.   "A walk after dinner sounds excellent. I'd love to show you around."

As they walked out in the cool night air, out of the temple walls to the center town courtyard, he stopped them both and took a deep breath. "I don't know if you can sense it, Night, but I love the way the dark smells in this town. Clean, crisp, and mysterious. Because of the type of dragon I am, I see and smell things differently, It's so much more interesting."  Gideon chuckled. "I suppose thats weird, never mind."

It wasn't very often he got to talk about the world. Everyone here knew everything they needed. Nightingale was a completely different situation. Not to mention she was completely confusing. She had a vulnerability that was very plain, but a hidden strength that had surprised Gideon. He led them down a winding path through the town's wide streets, past several loud bars, and a few quiet inns till they stopped in front of a older place, covered in a vine with beautiful purple flowers. Their perfume in fused the air with a fragrant scent.

"This is Nightbloom restaurant. I love the flowers, because they only open at this time of night. Hence the name, Night bloom. Almost no one comes here though, because they'd rather be out drinking all their money away." Gideon shrugged, and gazed at the light purple flowers. The building was a short,  stone and clay style building that would've reminded anyone of an old Italian casa. It's courtyard was surrounded by a small, black, and metal fence, one which the vines and blooms hung upon.

"I would not have expected that to be the case. Risa and You are giving me false images of this place." Nightingale said with a gentle smile. "It looks lovely. I imagine we don't need any reservations..." She said, sending a hand to flick some hair from her face. How here eyes shown in the night! If one thought that they beamed during the daytime, they would've been blown away at how her eyes seemed to absolutely and literally glow. A dark purple light seemed to leak from her eyes like small flashlights.

Nightingale smirked and lightly slugged Gideon in the upper arm. "Y'know. On the other hand, I like the images that you've given me." She said, winking lightly and prancing off into the vined restaurant. She stopped just inside the gates though, and waited for her companion to join her.

Gideon laughed, "There is a reason dragons are stereotyped as gold greedy, there are almost no impoverished families here. All are mostly well off."

He walked in and talked with the seating waitress. She handed him two menus and he turned around and set them on one of the tables outside. The little candle sitting on the table was unlit, until Gideon blew a little puff of fire at the wick, lighting it. He held out a chair for Nightingale, and waited for her to sit down.

Nightingale smiled and bowed lightly to Gideon, taking his aid and sitting in the seat he had pulled for her. "It's pleasant here..." She said quietly, looking around at the dimly lit scenery. "Kind of just the way I like it." She said, scooting herself into the table and picking up her menu. "Is there anything I should be warned about with your culture's food? Any extra spicing? Etc?" She asked, laying her palms on the table and her head on her palms. She gazed up at Gideon with her gently glowing eyes, which now stood wide and intuitive.

He shook his head. "If it's spicy, It will have a picture of flame next to it." Almost everything on the menu had a flame next to it, but that indicated mild according to the chart on the menu. "What you really need to watch out for if you don't like spicy, is the house special. Five Flame dish. Danger! Danger!" Gideon raised his hands and opened and shut them like little warning lights. A waitress stepped out of the restaurant, and began heading over to their far table. "Order whatever, they probably have it here." He suggested, as he flipped to the drink menu.
