"And we're going there?" Nightingale asked, bouncing around Risa like a small child now. Just like her father, Nightingale's emotions could sweep from pole to pole within minutes. Without a target to fire her anger at, all the demoness could go was swoon and follow behind the guiding figure that had found her. Her serious-ness would return as soon as she would be forced to interact with others, other than this Risa. That moment, as they stepped into the marble abbey, was soon approaching.
"What am I to do if one of these peoples comes and speaks to me face to face? Why can't I speak to them using my thoughts anyway? I am very persuasive in such manners. Even the best of dragons have troubling invading my family's thoughts- as I so remember." She said, her eyes and emotions taking on a studious and intelligent look now. "My father once told me he could do whatever he wanted with whomever he wanted, no matter the situation or how much power the person had." She smirked, "I never believed him though. Mother did though- she always told me not to do such things. Such a sweet woman." She smiled and moved to walk directly beside Risa instead of behind her. "So- Why can't I?"
"Hmmmm..." Risa mused. Nightingale was a rather confusing girl. They walked past the first marble entry into another courtyard, this one was empty.
"You can not." she stated firmly. "Your mind has an imprint of who you are. Dragons have a specific print, as do humans. Your's will differ and be recognizable as something unfamiliar." as she explained she continued to walk through the next marble entry. This lead into a darkened hallway, lit by bright torches. Risa went on with Nightingale behind her down this hallway, and it widened as they walked.
They finally stopped at the end of a now large, open area with two doors.
"I know not your father, nor his capabilities, but you are going to remain cautious. This door, " Risa pointed to the one they stood in front of, "Is my home. You may use the guest rooms. The door across the way?" She pointed to a large silver door across the space. "That is the inner sanctum, do not tread there. Once you pass the door, all enchantments and concealment is washed away. Your aura would be revealed."
Risa opened the door to her apartment, and walked in to a friendly little living room. To the side, there was book shelf and two comfortable reading chairs. A coffee table set between them. The center of the room was occupied by a sparkling fountain attached to the ground, which bubbled happily. The water flowed out of the fountain down onto the ground in little carved out crevices. Tiny bridges ran over the artificial stream. That stream criss-crossed, leading to the washroom, and kitchen. The spaces were connected by open door ways, excluding three rooms. Risa walked over a bridge and opened one. "This will be your room." From where she stood, she pointed out the washroom to the left, and her own room to the right.
"Make yourself at home." She stated as she walked into the kitchen to prepare a meal.
Nightingale smiled at the stream and the little bridges, but inquired on an earlier topic. "Why is the inner sanctum so dangerous than? Can't I go there for religious purposes?" She asked, her smile fading to a simply thoughtful look. She walked after Risa and to the door of her room. "You live in such a pretty place." She mumbled to herself as Risa walked off.
Nightingale first removed her cloak and boots, and placed them (the cloak neatly folded) just outside her door. Now with cute little black socks, a black corset, a silk blouse, and some dark and tight pants, she went to examine the finer details of the room. Her eyes were specially drawn to the gentle river that swung its way through the abode.
The little river twisted in a circular spiral all around the room. The bed was on a platform raised above the stream, so that it could flow underneath. The stone floors were smooth under Nightingale's feet. A tributary ran by her left leading under a different door. It, when opened, was a smaller washroom. The walls of this and the main room were painted light blues and greens, making the spaces look more open and airy. All the wood furniture in bedroom was made of dark wood. The bed posts twisted into the air like the branches of tree. The whole room was themed after a peaceful meadow.
