"How does Chicken and Fries sound? Fair food I know, But they taste excellent here."

"Humph. Fair food is fine. I made a fool of myself though." She said, her frown growing.

"You could never do that."

Gideon ordered a large basket of Battered chicken, and Fries. The Man behind the counter prepared it fresh, you could watch every step. After being handed the wire tray with their food, Gideon went and sat down at one of the picnic benches next to the cart. He picked up some of the fries and began to eat them, one at a time. "You didn't make a fool of yourself. I promise. Even if you did, they wouldn't care. Thoren and David both seem to really like you. I wish they wouldn't treat me like a three year old though."

"They..." Nightingale began seriously, then stopped and smiled. "Sorry, yeah, you're kind of right. Giddybaby? I could think of much better names." She said, showing him a soft smile and stealing a fry. "Giddy, for example. Short, playful, and cute. Giddypie; Giddypoo. Giddybaby just sounds like something Austin Powers would say." She said, smiling and suddenly mimicking the famous comedic actor. "C'mon Giddybaby." She said, grinning and adding the wink. Then she broke out into laughter and stole another fry.

"Sorry, I can't help myself." She said, blushing and hiding her face with her long hair. "You're awful lovable, y'know. It's hard to stop myself." She said quietly, taking another fry and burying it behind her wall of hair.

Gideon laughed along with her new cutsie pet names. "It's different when you say them. Oh, If David ever used those, I think I'd die." He chuckled, now ripping of a piece of the warm chicken and popping it in his mouth. Gideon's smile turned into something fainter, a little shy. "I'd like to think I'm lovable..." He took another piece of chicken, ripping it to tiny strips before eating them one by one. Gideon looked up again, an idea flashing to mind.

"Hey Night, How do you turn soup into gold?" he asked, a joke sparkling behind his eyes.

"Hmmm..." Night said, leaning her body down on the table, training her eyes onto Gideon's. "I dunno: Put it on a beautiful woman's lips?" She asked, tilting her head and widening her eyes to the point of puppies. "It made sense to me." She said, holding back a laugh and taking another fry, now sweeping her hair from her face and revealing it to Gideon.

He laughed at her answer. "Yep, that's one way. I was going to say 'add twenty four carrots." He stole the french fry she had grabbed out of her hand, and ate it. "I like your answer better," Gideon said with an evil little smile.

"Oh!" Night said, interrupting him after the 'carrots' part. "That's so smart!" She said with a giggle, blushing after he had finished. "I like that smile..." She finally muttered, her lips curling in a pleased smirk. "It's cute, adorable, and dark at the same time." She said, her lavender eyes shining bright.

Then her expression changed, and her smile faded. "Hey, Gideon. What are we going to tell David and Thoren when they ask about my aura...?" She asked, a bit of worry flashing over her eyes.

He smiled a bit more, but then became serious. "Tell them what you told me the first time. You work with a lot of people, and you don't want everyone knowing who you are." Gideon looked right at Night's worried expression. "You could say you've come to Risa for protection. She'll back you up."

Nightingale sighed quietly and stood. "I don't know... I've never liked hiding myself past a certain point..." She said, moving and coming to sit beside Gideon. She laid her head on his shoulder and sighed. "I have a feeling that the point is coming very soon... I... It's usually when I start feeling comfortable in the place... Like here with you... I just want to relax... but... but I can't because I still have to be this... not someone completely different but still to hide an amount of myself." She whimpered, now turning her eyes to Gideon. "It just stresses me out..."
