Kayla's POV
"No,he is just a pup.I don't know about,3 weeks maybe even younger.No,oh,ok.Thank you for your time anyways."I hung up and placed the phone on the counter.
"They couldn't take him either?"Ryan asked coming in while fixing his tie.
"Nope.No room,just like the other ones."He sighed."You are such a faker."
"How am I a faker?And can you fix my tie?"I nodded.
"You are a faker because,I know you want to keep him."I pecked his lips after fixing his tie.
"Ok,you caught me.Can we?"I thought about it.
"I mean why not?He is such a cutie."The puppy ran up to my feet."What do we call him?"
"I don't know.Boxer.Chubbles?"I died of laughter.
"Chubbles?"I was laughing so hard."I like boxer."He nodded.
"Boxer it is.Now,we need to go before we are late."I nodded and grabbed my purse and briefcase.

Me:Based on what you've told me so far, it sounds like your competitor is infringing your trademark.
CLIENT: Exactly. And the potential damage to my business is tremendous. Besides the usual threatening letters, what legal action can we take?
Me: Well, there are several things we can do. First, we can file an action in the district court and move for an injunction against your competitor. We need to show the probability of irreparable harm to your business. If this outweighs the probable harm to their business while the case is pending, we can get a temporaryinjunction. This injunction will prevent them from using the trademark, on pain of fine.
CLIENT: I'm sure they'll challenge that. They won't confess to the claim.
Me: Right. Actually, 'confess' is used in criminal cases. In civil cases we say 'admit the claim'.
CLIENT: Of course, a slip of the tongue.
Me: We'll also be seeking declaratory relief and damages for any and all compensable losses you've suffered.
CLIENT: I know what damages are, but what's declaratory relief?
Me: It's a declaration by the court that you are the rightful owner of the trademark. As for damages, if we're going to be able to recover your losses we'll first have to prove them. I'd like one of my associates to meet with your people to start gathering evidence.
CLIENT: That's fine – as soon as possible.
Me: What do you think the chances are of settling with your competitor?
CLIENT: Poor. It's a very bitter feud.
JUDGE:Case closed at an unfinished portfolio.

"You did great in there."Ryan said as we made our way to the diner.
"Thanks.I just wish they would stop closing the cases and actually finish them."He opened the door for me.
"True,it is kind of annoying."I nodded in agreement.
"I think,I am going to get a salad."I told the waiter.
"And I will have the Bacon cheeseburger."Ryan ordered his meal and the waiter left."So,about the wedding,wanna go today and check out some places?"
"Sounds good to me.We also have to figure out the invitations,the venue,menu,color,theme,activities,guest,table seating,flowers,pictures,dress,tux."He widened his eyes.
"That is a lot."I nodded."Remind me to go to petco so we can get boxer some things."
"Ok."
"Kayla."I looked up."I love you."He placed his hand on mine.
"I love you too Ryan."He leaned over and kissed me on the lips.

"Here Boxer!"I poured the food in the bowl and he came sliding over.He isn't that good at walking so he mostly slides everywhere.
I pet him on the head and went to our room to change.
"I am so tired."I entered the bathroom.
"Me too."The phone rang, cutting off Ryan."Hello?Oh Hi!It's so great to hear from you.Yea,I mean sure!Not at all.Ok.See you soon.Love ya too."He hung up and came to the bathroom.
"That was my brother,Charlie,he is coming down to visit tomorrow for a few days with his girlfriend,and he wanted to know if we have room.So I said yes and he is coming tomorrow."
"That is great.I finally get to meet him."I wrapped my arms around Ryan's neck and he picked me up and brought me to the bed.
He was kissing me when Boxer jumped on the bed and started kissing (licking)me as well.
"Hey,she is all mine little man."Ryan said rubbing his tummy.
After a while of watching t.v and cuddling,we went to sleep with Boxer between us.
