I know you've all been waiting to see Lacy, and well, now you finally can! There's a photo of her on the side in a lovely gown (not the one in this chapter) and pageant sash, although, it says Miss America, which is not where the girls live. :P Anyway, this chapter is adorable! New commenter gets a dedication. (: - RachelLyn

Chapter Nine – Why Thank You, Prince Charming

Harry's POV

The last week had been great even though I wasn't able to see Arianna too much because I had been in the studio and she'd been busy with Uni and Lacy's upcoming pageant. We texted constantly and whenever we both had free time we'd meet each other at the park by the paint ball arena. We had made that "our place," going there to be in private. The park was rarely crowded during the week as everyone was working or the kids were in school. Once in a while, there would be a few children with their parents running around on the playground, but it was entertaining to watch them interact.

I absolutely loved spending time with Arianna and she told me it was lovely for her as well. When one of us wasn't free neither would complain, as we both understood each others schedules. The daily texts of goofy pictures throughout our days were enough to keep us close.

On this particular day, I had the day off but Arianna had told me in advance that Lacy was participating in a local pageant. It was supposedly one of the biggest competitions she would be competing in. I was currently on the phone with her as she tried to finish some last minute work she had.

"I'll give you ten minuets," she laughed as I heard some papers shuffle in the background.

"I'll take it, how are you?"

"Stressed, Lacy and Elise are dragging me slightly insane. Charlotte is still making final alterations on Lacy's dress and Elise is still picking which photos to use. They're all running around like chickens with their heads cut off," she muttered.

"Is it bad I imagined Elise with a chicken body minus the head?" Arianna had shown me pictures of her room mates, they were great looking girls. All three, four including Lacy, definitely had the physical attributes for their studies, especially Arianna and Lacy.

"No not at all," her sweet laugh rang through my phone. I smiled widely, loving the sound. It always made me smile.

"Can I borrow you tonight?" I questioned.

"I don't know, can you?" she teased.

"May I borrow you tonight, love?" I corrected, playing along with her little game.

"You may, where shall you be sneaking me off to?" she asked in a posh accent.

"I was thinking I could pick you up, take you back to my flat? Louis keeps bugging me to meet you, I can make dinner?"

"That sounds wonderful. I'll text you the address, you can meet me around the back of the studio."

"Alright, I'll see you soon." I smiled.

"Oh and Harry, I haven't exactly told anyone about you yet. I wanted to keep your profile low because of the fans and such."

"Oh, okay. Are you planning on telling Lacy before I get there? And will Elise and Charlotte be there today?"

“The others won't be here today, it's just Lacy and myself. I was planning on surprising her actually. I wasn't sure when I would tell her, but considering you're coming today, it sounds like a good plan to me. The reason I haven't told Elise and Charlotte is because El will completely have a freak attack on me, bombard me with constant questions, try to meet you guys, and spend every second with you. She would end up hacking my phone just for your number and knowing her, she'd slip it to the world and the rest would be history. It sounds crazy, but I know her. It's true,” By the tone of Arianna's voice, I knew she was being serious, and I understood her reasoning, but I wasn't too keen on the idea of her going behind her best friend's backs.
