Chapter Eleven – You're a Horrible Dancer
Harry's POV
While pulling into the parking lot of my flat, I couldn't help contain the excitement bubbling around in me. I had thought to myself the entire ride home just how pleased I was to actually have Arianna coming over to my flat, meeting my best mate, and allowing me to cook for her. It didn't bother me one bit that little Lacy was joining us. Her reaction to me had gone over very smoothly at her pageant and she was beyond adorable. It wasn't hard to tell that Arianna and her sister had a strong bond and I wouldn't ever want to jeopardise that, so, I figured inviting Lacy to come along for a celebration dinner was the least I could do.
When I jumped out of my Range Rover, Arianna was just pulling in next to me, Lacy peering out the window from the back seat and smiling widely. When Arianna parked her car, I pulled Lacy's door open and helped her out, placing her on my hip carefully, trying to keep her huge tiara from tumbling to the ground.
"Nice place you got here," Arianna said, looking up at the giant building.
"Thanks," I smiled. "Ready to go in?" she nodded her head and followed me as I carried the nine year old girl into the building. I climbed the stairs to the second floor and placed Lacy down in front of my entrance as I dug my keys out to unlock the door. I pushed it open and moved aside so the girls could walk in. Arianna followed Lacy, her mouth opening slightly at the sight of my giant living room.
"Louis?" I yelled out, quite hoping that he was indeed home so I could introduce him to the girls. At my words, Lacy whipped her head around at me and stopped walking, her mouth agape and sparkly green eyes widened.
“You live with Louis? Does...does that mean I get to meet him too!?” she asked while jumping up and down, spinning in circles. I nodded at her with a smile, chuckling at how happy the little girl was.
"Yeah, mate?" Louis yelled back, sounding like he was in the kitchen.
Lacy bounced around in place beside Arianna and I, not being able to stand in one spot. My smile grew at her actions, her big eyes never leaving mine. She raised her eyebrows at me questionably and just nodded at her, knowing she wouldn't be able to wait much longer after knowing that Louis was also in the same building as her. Without a word, Lacy ran off in the direction of his voice and Arianna tried going after her, concerned that Lacy may wreck something.
“Lacy, wait!!” she shouted, stepping forward to catch the little ball of excitement. Before she could run after her sister, I took Arianna's hand in mine, tearing her gaze from her sister and settling on me.
“Arianna, it's fine. Let her explore. I told Louis earlier that you would be coming tonight and I texted him on the way saying that I'd be bringing one more,” I told her with a wink and she sighed, resting her head against my broad chest. “He's good with kids. I promise you, she won't be a problem.” I wrapped my arms around her small waist and kissed her forehead briefly.
“Promise that you're okay with her being here?” Arianna asked, looking up at me with an exhausted expression on her face.
“I promise, babe,” I confirmed, leaning down to her height, catching her lips on mine and kissing her quickly.
Arianna and I pulled away from each other when the sound of Lacy's laughter came roaring from down the hall. I took her small hand in mine and entered the kitchen to see Louis and Lacy holding hands and dancing around the kitchen island as 'I Want' played from Louis' phone. I heard Arianna chuckle behind me, making me smile at the silly 'children' in front of us.
