Chapter One - Please, Call Me Ari
Arianna's POV
The bass vibrated through my chest as I walked into the building. The loud music ran through my ears. I was instantly greeted as I walked down the hot hallway. Once fully inside the club, I saw the shaggy haired boy at the little wooden bar taking shots with his friends. I made my way over to the guy and I placed my hand on his shoulder. He turned around, his hazy eyes meeting mine.
"Arianna," he smiled sloppily, clearly drunk.
"Hi, Trevor," I smirked, before launching my fist straight into his flushed cheek. Trevor yelped in pain and flew back into the bar. He leaned against it and cupped his now swollen cheek.
"What the bloody hell?!" His friend screamed at me. I stepped forward and grabbed Trevor by the neck of his shirt. I pushed him up on the bar, still gripping his shirt tightly.
"That's for cheating on me, you filthy bastard!" I spat, and connected my knee with his groin. He yelped out again and fell to the floor gripping his manhood. I grabbed the shot that was left on the counter and downed it in a second. I smiled at the boy who was rolling on the floor and stepped over him. "Oh and I crashed your car," I snickered, taking the keys from my pocket and throwing them to the ground next to him.
I made my way out of the pub, not wanting to cause a bigger scene. I hopped into my black hot rod and sped down the street. I blasted the radio, desperately trying to get the thoughts out of my head. I knew that what I had done was a little much, but he deserved it. I also had my reputation to maintain. I couldn't let people walk over me, not again. I felt a rush sear through my body, I felt like I had drank a few shots that were laced with an energy drink. I knew that feeling, since I had experienced that mixture many times before. I craved an adventure, some fun, my mind racked on what I wanted to do until I settled on going to a club. I just wanted to let go and have fun. I needed to get Trevor out of my head.
Once I pulled up to the club I locked my car and headed for the door. The line was pretty long but since I had a rep here, I could just walk in. I made my way to the bouncer, slipping my tan arm around his neck.
"Hi, Isaac," I purred lightly in his ear.
"Hey, Ari," he smiled, his arm laced around my waist. "Head on in," he whispered in my ear.
"Thanks." I said, planting a light kiss on his cheek.
The doors opened and I slipped into the popular club. I headed into the very warm room and smiled at all the dancing people. I walked over to the bar knowing if I wanted to have fun, I needed a drink to loosen up. I plopped down on one of the bar stools and the bartender noticed me. He smiled and walked up to me.
"Hey Ari, want your usual?" he asked.
"Absolutely," I smiled, and he turned around to make me the drink. Seconds later he slid the small glass in front of me and I downed it in a second. The alcohol burned down my throat but I was used to it. My head began to get lighter and my body felt more free. I felt better and I craved to let everything go. I thanked the bartender and headed to the dance floor.
I let the beat of the song carry me as I began to dance, the bass rumbling through my chest and down to my feet making me feel like I was high. I swayed my hips back and forth as more dancing bodies began to surround me. Every few minutes a different man would grab onto my waist and began dancing against me. I didn't care honestly, I was used to it, I liked having the attention, I loved feeling wanted.
