Chapter Ten – Looks Better On You

Arianna's POV

"And the winner is...." the announcer's voice echoed through the small ballroom. I gripped onto Harry's hand tightly. Lacy needed to win this or she was done for the season. She wanted nothing more than to win this and I was praying that Harry was right and all our work had paid off.

I was still standing backstage as Lacy and the other contestants were stood on stage waiting impatiently for the winner's name to be announced.

"Lacy Faye," I squealed in glee and hugged Harry tightly, before watching my little sister head onto the centre stage to accept her award. They placed an enormous crown on her head as she smiled bigger than I've ever seen. I mimicked my sister's actions, the happiness practically radiating off of me. The announcer gave her a trophy that was just as tall as her and then ushered her off the stage after snapping a few pictures.

Lacy came running at me, dropping the trophy to the ground and engulfing me in a giant hug.

"You did it, honey!" I said, nuzzling my face into her small neck. She squealed in joy, then broke free of my grasp to pick up her trophy and give me a closer look. Harry had stepped back, out of all the commotion and let Lacy and I have out moment of shine. Lacy was shown her into the changing room so we could leave as soon as possible. I looked over to Harry who had a giant smile on his face and I raced over to him, hugging him like I did my sister. He picked me up off my feet and spun me around like a madman. I pulled back, staring into his gleaming eyes and pecked his lips.

“What did I tell you? She kicked those girls' asses,” Harry joked, kissing me a second time. He set me down just in time as Lacy walked out of the changing room in her purple sweat pants and jumper, her crown still balanced proudly on her head.

"Uh, Ari, mummy said she can't come and get me, she has to work late tonight," Lacy said.

"Alright, I'll have to cancel my date tonight then," I sighed.

"Sorry, sissy," she mumbled sadly.

"Don't worry about it, love, maybe we can go get something special to eat as a celebration. Maybe even the girls can come too. Let's just make sure they're done with class, want to call them?" I offered reassuringly. She jumped up and down, nodding as I handed her my phone. Before Lacy was able to make the call, I felt Harry's soft curls brush my neck behind me.

“There's no need for that,” he said. Lacy looked up from the phone upon hearing his voice and the shock on her face was priceless.

"You're....you're Harry Styles," Lacy gapped. I chuckled at her response, this is exactly what I expected her to act like.

"And you, beautiful, are Lacy," he smiled, bending down so he was the same hight as the nine year old girl.

"You know who I am?" Lacy exclaimed. Harry looked up at me questionably. I went and joined them, getting down at their height.

"Lacy, do you remember when I told you how I met a lovely guy at a party?” I questioned her, looking into her bright green eyes. She nodded slowly still confused. “Remember me telling you how I've been spending quite a bit of time with him?" She nodded again, still not saying a word.

"It's Harry," I said looking over her shoulder at the curly haired boy.

"You're dating Harry Styles!?" she squealed. I heard Harry laugh behind me and I quickly placed my hand over her mouth to stop her from screaming.
