17- Too much to handle

Here I am, being forced to walk to school with Ino and Sakura.

As for yesterday, it went by like a breeze. So... Ino actually caught us hugging, which was expected because we were hugging in front of the house. She didn't really take it so calmly; she ran out of the house and shouted at us because we were apparently "showing public displays of affection." Of course, we had to pull away. And shortly after that moment, Kiba actually went off to walk back home.

What happened after that isn't really important, so I'll just go back to today.

Anyways, Ino and Sakura made me get out of my house this morning to walk with them to school, even after I told them that I would just stay home today. They wouldn't take "no," or any other colorful words that I happened to know, for an answer. After that came resisting, and then being forcefully dragged out of your own home against your will.

Sakura and I were behind Ino, who was already plotting ways to get back at Karin. Sakura's hands tightly gripped my shoulders so I wouldn't be able to run off. I still had that scowl on my face as we kept walking on the sidewalk. I was pissed off, but at the same time, I was nervous. I didn't want to cry again. I was sure that I would lose it if I saw them acting lovey-dovey in class.

This is JUST GREAT.

"I have something planned for that Karin chick and I want you to be there to see it, Yuri-chan," Ino cracks her knuckles and looks away from me, letting a smirk come upon her face. She looks forward with an evil look in her eyes. As she let out a small laugh, she says through her breath. "I can't wait to see her. And I won't stop until I see her running off with tears flowing down that pretty little face of hers."

"You know," Sakura looks at me, pursing her lips together for a second before speaking again. "We're about to get revenge on Karin and Sasuke for you, since you obviously don't have that thought set in you yet. You should be thanking us."

I turn my head and gave Sakura an annoyed look. "I'm not mad because of that. I'm mad because you two are basically dragging me to school when I'm still hurting. I'm not in the mood to see any of them."

"Aww, come on!" Ino whined. "You can't miss this! You're going to see them in pain!"

"Tch," I rolled my eyes, looking away from the two. "Right. They're the ones going to be in pain."

It took us only a few minutes until Konoha High was already in sight. From afar, I could notice that the entrance was already crowded; that meant that we would have a hard time getting inside the school, since we weren't the first ones here. In an instant, Ino began complaining on how they should have just tied me up, threw me in the back seat of the car, and drive off to the school at 6:30 AM. In a way, she blamed my resisting for us arriving to school "late."

I had a nervous feeling inside my stomach as we walked along the sidewalk leading to the school's front entrance. I wasn't ready to see them yet. It hasn't even been twenty-four hours since I broke up with Sasuke. Who knows? As soon as I walk through those doors, Sasuke would have already asked Karin to be his girlfriend. That'll prove how truly heartless he is... and also the fact that he probably never loved me.

I knew that I was the one who ended it, but that was because he was unfaithful.

I mean... I still had feelings for him.

The doors opened before we could reach the crowd. The students began entering the building almost immediately. Ino, being the most impatient person I knew back in elementary, had pushed through the crowd to get inside the building. Sakura and I tried to follow after her, but she was lost in the crowd in an instant. Sakura tightly gripped my shoulders as we maneuvered through the crowd, but as I walked past the doors, I couldn't feel her hands anymore. I turned my head back and scanned through numerous heads for a pink-haired girl, but to no avail.
