Hello guys! I am so sorry for not updating in forever... I took a hiatus to focus on school... Okay fine, who am I kidding, I got writer's block and gave up. I am going to try to constantly write a chapter about every 2-3 weeks now (my New Years Resolution). I hope you enjoy this different chapter!

4:45 am is not a happy time to wake up. Fitting into tight suits is never comfortable. Smelling like chlorine will not please anyone in a 2 meter radius. There are so many ways we can complain about swimming, but in truth, swimming is the funnest sport, but I won't blame you if you disagree. Hard work isn't fun... until it pays off. Here are some ways that swimming long hours can pay off
1. Eating
I hope this is number one on ALL swimmer's lists. Swimmers are known for their huge diets and their capabilities to not care for calories. How is that?, you may ask. It is as simple as this, we burn it all off at practice! Swim seems like a puny sport, but if you think it like this, we swimmers use and work out our ENTIRE bodies. Legs, arms, abs, necks, butts, you name it! Swimming also forces you to power through the water. All of this work can easily burn off calories. Also, our sets are made to be repeated and done over and over again. With all of this, some swimmers might even be wanting to eat more!2. Amazing Body
This one applies to both boys and girls. For the boys, let me be honest here, Ryan Lochte, Michael Phelps, Nathan Adrian, Matt Grevers, and all of the Olympic Men. They all have amazing bodies, and us girls also have nicely toned bodies. We should be the new Victoria Secret's models!!3. Mermaid Abilities
Swimmers may dread practices, but when they go swimming for fun (out of practice), we love showing off. The minute you jump in, you are doing flips, swimming fast, or dolphin kicking under water for a long time. In other words, we have have mermaid abilities, and who doesn't want to show off being a mermaid!4. Scent
Yes, I know that we always smell like chlorine... BUT... I think the chlorine scent is much better than the sweat scent. Swimmers get used to chlorine so it doesn't bother you as much, while sweat gets worse each time. Plus after dryland, jumping into the pool not only cools you, but it also masks all of your funky scents!~~~~~
I hope you enjoyed this nice and short chapter!!!
