Aphmau's POV:

Aphmau smiled, yawned, stretched and and opened her eyes, only to yelp and jump out of her bed in surprise. This time in her room was not just Laurence, but, Travis as well. "Seriously?! Both of you?! Why in the world would you think that that is a good Idea?! I could, and would, have slapped you!" Laurence pointed at Travis and said, "I saw Travis walking over here and came to stop him, but, got stopped by your beauty as you woke up." Travis looked at him, smiled smugly and said, " It is not my fault that she has overwhelming beauty Laurence." Their talking must have woken up Levin and Malachi because, not two seconds later, Travis and Laurence were flat on their faces with Levin and Malachi standing behind them. "Good morning mom!" Levin said cheerfully. "How about we go down to breakfast now." Together they walked down the stairs to breakfast.

Later that day, aphmau was walking back to Cadenza's house from the library and saw movement on the outskirts of the forest. So, being the curious person that she was, she went to investigate, with her sword out of course. When she was just out of New Meteli and within the tree line a soldier with O'kasian armor grabbed her from behind and another took her weapon away. "Let me go! Let me go right now!" She shouted. The guard that had her weapon said, "Okay now girly. Just calm down and stop screaming." They covered her mouth and nose with a cloth that had a sickly sweet smell. And then everything went black.

Aphmau had a pounding headache and felt cramped and sore. "Ugh. My head. I feel horrible." She opened her eyes to find herself in a nice room with large windows, the red curtains that were opened. The bed had purple covers and a night stand with a lamp on it. The nightstand was separating her bed from a cherry red one. However, no matter how nice the room, she still felt horrible. She heard footsteps coming towards the door. "Guards, you are dismissed." ,said a young male voice from outside the door. The sound of armor moving came and then faded. The door then opened and a man walked in. Aphmau thought, Oh my Irene No! Not him! It can't be him! But, she knew it was. Now standing in the room with her was......... Zane. The second son of the lord Garte. He had a worried expression on his face. He was wearing the same black outfit as she saw him in before with one slight difference, he had nothing covering his face. He had the same hair style and yet he had the same color brown for his eyes as her own. The next words he spoke were ones she never thought would come out of his mouth.

Zane's POV:

Zane walked regally down the hall. He had a neutral expression on his face. However despite his expression and the way that he walked, he was really quite worried. She had been delivered to his father unconscious and Zane was worried that the guards had hurt her. He walked up to the guards and told them they were dismissed after they had walked a fais distance down the hall, Zane's face immediately showed how worried he really was. He opened the door and walked into the room to see that lady Aphmau was awake. Her expression was disbelief and, though she was obviously trying to mask it, pain. He immediately asked, "Are you okay Lady Aphmau?" Her jaw hung open in more disbelief. She was clearly shocked at his question. He sighed, closed the door and walked over to the other side of the room. Sitting on his bed next to hers. She closed her mouth and stared at him coldly.

She flinched as he reached over and felt her forehead with the back of his hand. "You must be hungry.", he said pulling his hand away from her forehead. "I'll get you something to eat. It's almost dinner anyway. What would you like to eat?" Aphmau didn't respond. "Look, if you're not going to say anything, then I won't know what you do and don't like." Zane said. Aphmau let out a breath and said, "I don't care. Spaghetti maybe. And Jasmine tea." Zane simply smiled. And walked out of the room to go get their dinner. After their dinner, Aphmau asked, "So, Zane. Is there a library here?" Zane looked up at her and replied, "Yes. We do have library. Why?" Aphmau didn't reply. Zane sighed and said, "Alright, I get that you don't want to talk to me. It's late. We should get to bed." Aphmau laid down on her bed and rolled so she wasn't facing him. Zane laid down on his and stared up at the ceiling.
