A Zanemau fanfic (COMPLETED)

Chapter 10

Aphmau POV

Me and Zane sat down to start our picnic. It was awkward at first because of how we were brought here. However, we both soon went back to being comfortable around each other. We talked a bout how much the guys had over reacted. Zane then asked, "Why was Aaron the most vicious out of all of them?" I sighed, remembering what Aaron had told me. "Zane, you had him kill his village with a pendant. Don't you remember doing that?" I asked. He shook his head no with a puzzled look on his face. We sat in silence for a bit and the sun started to set. We were just about to head back, when we heard something. It sounded like, music? A low humming noise was coming from our right, the opposite way of Phoenix Drop. We curiously moved in the direction of the sound. As we walked further, the humming grew louder. And then, all of a sudden, it stopped. The sun was now below the horizon and we had no choice, but, to move forward. We saw a large pond with a waterfall cascading over a cliff. What we saw next was beautiful, terrifying, and breath taking.

Zane POV

A dragon. That's what stood before us. It's massive purple head was stooped down to the edge of the water. It's great wings were folded to it's sides. The beautiful purple scales were shimmering in the light of the new moon. The alluring eyes seemed to be glowing a faint gold. The actual eye color, from what I could see, was a midnight black. But, they weren't soulless, they were a beautiful sparkle that captured how graceful and intelligent this creature was. Aphmau started walking to the great beast. It looked up, but, it didn't seem frightened or mad, it was curious and moved to Aphmau with it's fluid grace. They looked at each other and then, the dragon nuzzled Aphmau. I had heard of this. Dragons choose to bond with certain people. And that was very rare. She is so lucky! Then, a rustle was heard from behind me and A large, golden dragon was here. It was slightly larger than Aphmau's dragon and was mere feet away from me. I knew that I should be terrified, but, I wasn't. In fact, I felt strong! Then I felt it. A very strong bond. This was amazing! I had bonded as well!
