TOBIAS: You sat in the chair, waiting for Tori to come back with her tools. You were so ready to get your first tattoo! All of your friends already had one, but they were more than happy to accompany you.

"You're not gonna cry, are you?" Lynn asked, making Marlene and Uriah laugh. You rolled your eyes, scoffing.

"I've broken my leg before; a tiny needle is nothing!" You remarked, laying back in the chair. Inside you were a bit nervous, but you just remembered how many painful things you've been through and the worry would go away.

"You're barely getting one?!" A fellow Dauntless born asked, almost in disbelief. Her and her crew of burgundy matching idiots laughed, teasing you.

"Is it that big of a deal? Sod off." Marlene retorted as Lynn clenched her fists.

"If you were really Dauntless, you would've done it sooner." The girl said, shaking her head at you. Before you could say anything, you heard someone come from behind you and say,

"If you were really Dauntless, you would know that bullying is not tolerated and is a sign of cowardice; points off, initiate." You turned to look at Four and couldn't help but smugly smile at the girl. She looked down and quickly walked away, her group following her. Your friends mocked them by laughing and waving playfully at them. You chuckled.

"Thanks, Four." You said, smiling at him. He returned a barely noticeable smile and nodded at Tori, who returned just in time. Four grabbed the glass block with your tattoo on it, nodding.

"Nice. Can't wait to see it." He said, walking away shortly after. You couldn't hide the small tint of pink that appeared on your cheeks, so you bit the inside of your cheek.

"Forbidden love at its finest." Uriah stated, causing everyone, including you, to laugh.

"He's so serious; it's crazy to see him talk to anyone like that." Tori stated, putting her gloves on. Good, you thought.

PETER: Today you woke up extra early to make sure that you would get a muffin; every morning when you arrived at the dining room, all of your peers would have a muffin or two, and there was never any left for you. It sounds pathetic in a sense, but if you were going to indulge in "ordinary" acts of bravery everyday, you might as well get rewarded for it. You hurriedly made your way into the dining room, only to be stopped by Drew. You were surprised that he wasn't with Peter; he never said anything to you when Peter was around.

"In a hurry?" He asked, crossing his arms. You tried to go around him, but he shuffled to the side, blocking you. You noticed the tray in his hands, which held five muffins. You felt your stomach growl.

"I'm just trying to eat." You said, pushing past him. You grabbed a tray for yourself, grabbing a muffin first, then your toast. You could feel your stomach thanking you when you placed the muffin on your tray. Before you could even walk to your seat, Drew snatched the muffin away from you, cackling as he did so. You growled and set your tray down, refusing to let him win.

"Give it back to me, Drew!" You demanded, chasing after him. He went left and right, dodging you as he laughed. You were frustrated with his immaturity.

"What's the matter with you, idiot? Give the baby her muffin." You furrowed your eyebrows and looked at the tall boy behind Drew. Did Peter just tell his tiny henchman to give something to you? That was a first. Drew reluctantly handed you your muffin back, walking away in anger.

"Thanks, Peter. I've been dying to get my hands on one of these." You admitted, biting into the muffin. He huffed and shook his head.

"Don't flatter yourself, doll face, I just don't want my crew makin' me look bad in front of the leaders, that's all." He said, walking away. You pursed your lips to hide your smile; the brash, arrogant Candor was actually nice to you... and that muffin was really good.
