TOBIAS: You stood in the train alongside Uriah, Marlene, and Lynn, who were more than ready to begin the game. Four picked Tris, causing Eric to tease him.
"Oh, picking the weak ones so you got someone to blame when you lose." He said, smirking. You almost smirked when Four looked back at him, replying with,
"Something like that." Eric then chose Peter, looking back at Four. Four turned to you and gave you a small smile.
"Y/N." Eric watched you as you walked towards Four.
"You're going down." You mouthed, running your index finger along your throat to show them that you were ready to dominate. Peter and Edward scoffed as Eric rolled his eyes, continuing to choose. When everyone had a team, you separated, ready to place your flag somewhere safe. Everyone began to talk about the plans, bumping heads every time someone disagreed.
"Don't diss me, Candor." Lynn muttered to Christina, who was glaring back at Lynn. Marlene pulled Lynn away as Uriah continued to assign offense and defense with Christina. You noticed Four leave with Tris, which bothered you. You returned to your assignment, disregarding the fact that your boyfriend followed the stiff. When they returned, you quickly stood next to Four, shoving Tris to the side. They explained the plan of attack to reach the flag and you immediately apologized to Tris; they were only finding a strategy, which was obviously better than the one the group was coming up with.
"I'll join you." You offered, cocking your gun. She cleared her throat.
"Thanks, Y/N." You felt Four stand beside you, touching your arm with his.
"Ready?" He asked. All of you nodded and he looked down at you, cocking his gun.
"Let's move out then." You all took your positions, and when the first gun shot came from the other side, you all began to fight back, allowing Christina and Tris to move forward without being detected. You smiled, enjoying the rush this game gave you. You shot with great aim, not caring about your surroundings. You hid behind a box, making sure you still had darts. When you saw that you only had one left, you grunted in anger.
"Shit." You breathed out and before you could even stand up, your gun was shout out of your hand. You looked at who shot it, realizing it was Eric. He pointed his gun at you and you were ready to take it like a man, but he fell, groaning in pain. You looked over at your savior; Four, of course. He picked you up, allowing you to take Eric's gun as he struggled to stand up.
"You need to be more strategic." Four warned, pulling you down behind a box with him. You couldn't help but smile at how serious he was.
"Ouch, sorry, boss. How could you ever forgive me?" You asked, smiling. He shook his head and smiled at you, leaning in to kiss you. You felt so good knowing how sneaky and mischievous the situation was. Your about-to-be kiss came to end when the yells of your team erupted, causing the other team to groan in defeat. You stood up with Four, applauding. When you were all walking back to the compound, Uriah invited you to zipline, a ritual the Dauntless did. You looked over at Four, who refused to look at you and Uriah. You sighed and declined, earning a shocked look from Uriah.
"I've got unfinished business." You said, looking at Four and winking. Even though he wasn't looking at you directly, you knew he was from peripheral vision because he smirked. Uriah caught on and laughed, leaving you two behind. You looked behind you to make sure everyone was ahead, and you grabbed his hand. He intertwined his fingers with yours and smiled, causing you to smile as well.
PETER: You stared at Peter, who was on the opposing side. You were one of the last ones to be chosen, but you were chosen, unlike Molly, who was thrown to Eric because she was last and Four's team was full. Peter glanced at you before smirking. You swallowed. You already knew he was going to be after you, and when it came to competitions, Peter had to win. You all jumped out of the train, going your separate ways. When your team had the plan, you waited for them to attack as you all moved out. You were always pretty swift with your movements, so you were able to dodge all of the darts being shot at you. You saw Edward point his gun at you and you yelped, quickly throwing yourself on all fours, landing behind a box as he shot. You let out a sigh of relief as you pushed yourself up a bit with your arms, grabbing your gun. As soon as you grabbed your gun, you felt a horrible pain on your left butt cheek, causing you to cry out. You fell onto your stomach, slowly reaching behind you to remove the dart.
