TOBIAS: You and the other Dauntless born waited at the bottom of the stairs, anxious to see your parents after the long time you've been away from them; transfers weren't the only ones who suffered. Soon enough, a bunch of parents began to pour out in a single file line, hurrying to meet up with their children one last time. You saw your mom and dad in an instant, recognizing their excited smiles from where you stood. When they reached the bottom, you lunged at them, almost tackling them as they hugged you.
"Hey, kid! How's training?" Your dad greeted, hugging you so tight that the air in your lungs quickly flew out.
"Training is fine. I'm actually top three." You boasted, causing them to erupt into a fury of claps and congratulation screams.
"Great! You've got it all set. And look at how toned you are now!" Your mom exclaimed, rubbing your arms up and down. You smiled and before you could speak, Four walked up to you.
"Y/N, do you mind closing the-"
"Four?" Your parents asked, shocked. They've heard of him, but they never thought they'd meet him in the flesh. He turned to them completely surprised, barely realizing they were there.
"Oh, yes. How are you?" He asked, shaking their hands.
"You instruct the Dauntless born?" Your father asked, causing you to place your hand behind your neck.
"Well, funny thing is that he doesn't." You mumbled, earning a tilt of the head from your parents and a clenched jaw from Four.
"You two are dating?" Your mom asked, whispering. You smiled cheekily and both your parents laughed.
"Your secret is safe with us. I am assuming that you are taking care of my daughter as a real man should." Your dad said, causing Four to nod. Even though you were Dauntless, your dad always told you that real man should always take care of his woman.
"I wouldn't let anything happen to her." You looked up at Four, smiling at him as he smiled back.
"How cute! Now let's go get some food, I'm starving!" Your mom exclaimed. You and Four fought the urge to hold hands and followed your parents to where the food was being served.
PETER: You spotted your parents immediately, seeing that they were the only parents in the compound with yellow and red clothing.
"Mom! Dad!" You cried out, running up to them. They ran up to you and embraced you, backing away to get a good look at you.
"Wow, you've changed." Your mom said, giving you a soft smile. You looked down and nodded.
"I'm Dauntless now." You stated, pursing your lips. They nodded, staring at you. They kissed your cheek tenderly.
"We forgave you for leaving Amity. It feels as if this was your destiny; you were always a bit more rebellious than the others." Your dad said; you all laughed, pulling each other into a group hug. As much as you loved your new Dauntless life, you definitely missed your loving parents. You spotted Peter walking around, and you quickly dragged your family towards him. You grabbed him, and he stumbled as he followed you, unsure of what was happening.
"Mom, dad, this is Peter. He's my boyfriend." You blurted out. Peter wiped his hand on his shirt and extended his arm.
"Hi." He greeted, giving you a small glare. Your parents shook his hand and asked him,
"What faction did you transfer from?" He almost smirked.
"Candor." Your parent's eyes widened as they turned to you. You smiled shyly at them; maybe you were a little too rebellious.
